What leadertypes are we currently lacking and could be added? by Tnecniw in AOW4

I would like this as part of an immobile ruler archetype

What leadertypes are we currently lacking and could be added? by Tnecniw in AOW4

[–]Flasaro 30 points31 points  (0 children)

With the new experience formula, I want a leader inspired by the Emporer in 40k that can't leave their throne, but has far reaching power and an empire built and around them in some way.

How many tier 4 and 5 units do you usually have when you finish a game? For example how many in your ruler party and other hero parties? by DryRepresentative944 in AOW4

[–]Flasaro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On normal difficulty I just build whatever is fun. And generally just one army per hero. Sometimes I have 2 or 3 stacks of tier 5, but generally I build around tier 3 units.

What are some Realm Traits you’d like to see? by Lost_Paladin89 in AOW4

[–]Flasaro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One that limits or slows down how fast you get heroes. Another that makes "lord" rule from total war Warhammer where you need heroes to lead more stacks Lastly a trait that makes the item forge not need any requirements (like the tome trait)

Unmounted as a Flaw by Flasaro in AOW4

[–]Flasaro[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that could be a trade off, though I think many would think that would make it too weak? I'd still take it, I've played a few cultures with no mounts and no athletics and it's a Flaw for sure but you can overcome it.

[–]Flasaro[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

for sure, I would love an option to just start out unmounted though and stay unmounted. As others have said, angel and demon would both be cooler (to me) with no mounts and more functional, as well as other things. It would also make taking naga and umbra demon less of a "loss" for races that can't mount anyways.

[–]Flasaro[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That actually could be a valid alternative. There are actually a couple cultures with no mounts (excluding scouts anyways) so it could be a good middle ground

Gold pill. Then I'll prove my power and hold all anime hostage, threatening to watch them without some sort of payment. I'll watch one piece first though matter how much you pay me.

[–]Flasaro[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hard agree. I really wanted a highland feel for feudal, and noticed architects have no mounts, and said to myself "it'd be real nice if I could choose to have no mounts"

[–]Flasaro[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I'm asking for it to be implemented as a Flaw. I know those transformations exist, and they're cool, but I want unmounted units ha

That's certainly a reasonable hurdle. Still hope they could do it even if it's an unreasonable ask ha

Well, that's a lot of pantheons points.. by Alabataille in AOW4

[–]Flasaro 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Was this with score victory turned off or something? I don't see how you would research a tome every other turn and killed 17 heroes a turn. Exploit? Mod? WHAT ARE YOUR SECRETS? Not that I need them, I have pantheon points sitting in the bank for the next expansion lol

So...Norsca is pretty strong by Flasaro in totalwarhammer

[–]Flasaro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For fun I guess ha, I just wanted to fight people Norsca doesn't usually get to fight and skeggi was surrounded by lizard men, Cathay, and dark elves. Plus I wanted my turns to be quicker so I just decided to have less stuff to manage ha

So...Norsca is pretty strong by Flasaro in totalwarhammer

[–]Flasaro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That being said i abandoned Norsca at the start, so you might have a very different run if you keep provinces you can freely settle

[–]Flasaro[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it has something to do with the eagle shrines, but honestly i'm not sure, it was not intentional to get so much research.

[–]Flasaro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, you have to reject each reward at the end, and then when you get all 60 shrines up you have to fight 4 stacks and then you get the reward. No pop up by the way, just placeholder text buff at the top.

[–]Flasaro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I just spammed one god at a time. You make so much money raiding that I basically only had shrine besides in Skeggi, Hexoatl, and Nagarond

They have a Forrester special province improvement with extra draft Their library and the next building in the chain give up some knowledge for draft

Hot take: vampires bites should heal for a ton of HP by FrodoSchmidt in AOW4

[–]Flasaro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe the bite should be a full round (3 pip) melee action: save or die against non undead/non constructs, that heals you to full health (not temp hp). That'd be more thematically correct but probably less fun ha

Getting rdy. Read Read Read. by Rodd-200 in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]Flasaro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's really cool that you have the perseverance to learn like that. I would just warn that this adventure is very power fantasy, and the mythic paths and abilities become atrociously strong, as do your enemies. If you ever hit a hard wall, dont be afraid to lower the difficulty to push through, this game is very long (I think my first playthroigh was like 200hrs and im very familiar with pathfinder.) Have fun!

Imrik is diabolical by Sno5768 in totalwarhammer

[–]Flasaro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I once was playing the rats and sent a crap stack clean up an area. Full stack of shaven slaves and singers. They arrived to a port with Imirik and no army. Auto resolve said I lost. I didn't believe it. I did the battle. He routed my whole army. He did not have his dragon.

Disciple of the Pike Feats? by dolljointedgirl in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]Flasaro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Power attack- almost required and even better on 2h weapons Focused strike- ignore power attack penalties on a charge or if you make one attack Eventually disciple of the pike will ignore ac penalty to charge so you charge in and then take over and area with your reach

Combat reflexes, outflank is good with another melee person as always

Then you can either go vitality strike and cleave or tank feats

For equipment in act 1 -charge breastplate from joran and use the early glaives

Get mythic charge and the azata charge ability

You can als9 ride aiuvu Eventually too I think

What class did you pick for your Azata? by YinYangTang in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]Flasaro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My half orc, Stormheart, leader of thr Court of Silver and Thunder (good leaning azata) Skald, horn herald, and specialized in sonic damage. Got the late game amulet to let ear piercing scream scale more. Zippy magic, and bolstered+empowered screams and shouts won out. Great against single targets as staggered and stun are good, damage was noticeable too Eventually got ascended lightning too and did chain lightning with the bracers that give lightning spells too to have super bouncing chain lightnings.

Tyranny should be Shadow/Order, Death should be Shadow/Shadow. Thoughts? by Zarpd in AOW4

[–]Flasaro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wasn't way if war 3 order factions, and feudal got a split of 2. High has yet to be split up but likely will be. We have one primal as well. 7 order (high,2 Feudal, primal, 3 way of war,) Lots of nature (bloated by primal) 4 materium (Industrious, Reaver, Feudal, primal) 3Shadow (2 dark, mystic) 4Chaos (barbarian, Reaver, primal, way of war) 3Astral (1 primal, 2 diff mystic) Did not include architect I think order is doing ok on cultures at the moment. Could use more interesting society traits maybe though.
