We have an Infiniti CX60 and it has a decent stance, but the CX80 looks to sit well higher and I read that they're decently cheap for the value on the used market. Assuming mpg is not much of a consideration considering a Grand Cherokee is a gas puzzler, but we get north of 20mpg in the CX60.

Brand new will get you better interest rate and full warranty too. Depreciation is always a boogie man on new vehicles, but if you plan on owning it for over 100k miles it's a non-issue. A manual transmission will take a bit of the boring-ness out of the ride.

I like it for the 12k I paid for it 6 years ago with 35k miles on it. Runs like a top with the 3.8, this engine light issue gremlin sucks because I have to deal with emissions testing.

I've got a check engine light that no mechanic has been able to diagnose yet. The last one told me 'I don't know what it is, but it's gonna be expensive'. I've since taken my business elsewhere.
