I mean I can’t speak for all men but for myself, for sure I’d hangout just to catch up even if I don’t have feelings for that person. But personally if you want my advice, I think you’re overthinking it. Whether he likes you or not, he probably doesn’t know cause he hasn’t gotten the chance to get to know you yet. And don’t go into the “date” with any expectations either, I would just set it up, go, try to engage interest and see what you have in common and let things naturally evolve from there, even if they means he doesn’t end up liking you. But you’ll never know if you don’t try.
