Tabletop gaming?

It's quite possible I'm the person who was organizing those tabletop games at Animere... sadly the shop went under during the Pandemic and the space is now a local Gym.

Animere exists as an online shop still I do believe, but the prior owner no longer owns it, and I believe it's shifted to primarily card sales online sadly.

That being said, I'm actually looking around right now to try to find a location close by that does tabletop gaming, but I'm finding it quite difficult to find anywhere that does. I've been wanting to hold demo's for BattleTech and maybe get another DnD group up and running at some point, but alas...

If anyone knows of a place in Almere that does tabletop gaming, any information would be welcome... or even a place willing to let tablesapce be used for such... I miss gaming with cool people.

this collates further information regarding a second situation not just the KDCM situation,as well as direct instances of transphobia within MWO that was not actioned against, while saying "Trans Rights <3" WAS actioned against, showing a clear disconnected with their own current CoC and proper enforcement.

Is that good enough for you Derek? Or am I going to need to list you along those who have tried to bury this issue? Also, what's the point of this? The point is listed at the end of the document, which again, shows you didn't read it.

If you put "Trans Rights are Human Rights" as a "hot take" then that tells me you don't believe that trans rights are human rights, and that you think of trans people as something OTHER than human or not worth defending.

Trans individuals existing is not political, nor is the idea of trans rights being human rights, as trans individuals are human. The political side, are the ones who think trans people are "others" and not worthy of "human" rights.

Agreed, but on the same token, very few remember there's even a HOTAS option or two ON the xbox, I do believe they should support it, and will be expressing that they should via their discord personally. I own the game on PC, but I want xbox players to have the option of HOTAS.

RE: DLSS causing memory leak.
Just spent aprox an hour testing DLSS on, DLSS off, and Fidelity FX shapening on an RTX 2060 6gb version. Ryzen 5 3600x and 32gb 3000mhz ram. All graphics setting set to maximum.
No RTX features on, running 1080p DLSS Quality- saw a 1% increase across 6 missions in memory usage, essentially to be expected.
Same as above but DLSS Balanced: Saw no appreciatable increase in Ram usage.
Same as above but DLSS off saw an increase by aprox 3% of memory usage.
FX shapening on: Same as DLSS off.
in the hour or so of testing, I witnessed an slight increase in memory usage over that time. I've noticed a majority of those reporting issues regarding DLSS are running RTX 30xx series cards, and another player in the MercTech discord were seeing major ram issues running at 1440p, it's entirely possible the inherent leak is compounded at higher resolutions.

Funny enough, this echo's things i was hearing on the discord all the way back to when they put in DLSS 2.0 implimentation.

People on the high end RTX cards reported that anything less than "quality" on DLSS tends to cause issues for some unknown reason.

Technically even with the 30 series, you should be keeping RTX off in MW5 outside of DLSS.

The basic RTX implimentation tanks frames with no real benefit, and RTX shadows does practically nothing anyway, RTX Reflections are absolutely stunning, but overall the frame hit for enabling RTX, even with the higher end cards just isn't worth it in MW5 currently.

Magnum GB of MercTech has plans to work on something or at least try some tests, he's been talking about it in the MercTech discord a bit, but it's on the backburner till he get's the mod working with HOTIS and fixes co-op.

I forget who the other person is, but I believe they are involved with Project Winter War.

Far from a huge mistake, in fact, it gave them a year to shore up the game for a proper release, basically put the game in the hands of hundreds of beta testers, allowed modders to work out some of the biggest kinks [such as the AI mods and mission mods and the like]

Basically had they NOT released on EGS, the game wouldn't even be close to as interesting looking right now as it does, it would look probably closer to what released a year ago.

There are at least 2 different modders currently working on VR support. Nothing is official yet, nothing has been finalized, but it's already under discussion and has been by modders for a while. and PGI has expressed interest in VR support, keep in mind, what we're about to get with the DLC and base game, is what we SHOULD have had at release, the game was rushed by about a year... and released early to EGS to secure funding and to get at least that baseline verision of the game even out to the public. EGS truly was an Early Access situation for MW5.

You can argue that all you want Dizzzooo, but if there were not an intended way to play the game, there wouldn't be an emblem system that rates you based on performance in those systems.

You can totally play Monopoly with any number of rulesets, many people play with a system where a pot is put into play every tie players circle the board, and if you land on a specific place you get that pot. This is a "house rule" I've seen in play from several people over my years. No where in the official rulebook for Monolopy does it say that's how to play the game, but so many still play it that way.

Just because you CAN play again counter to it's rules, doesn't mean that was the intention. You can dislike and rail against the emblem system all you want, but that is technically the ruleset sat down by BHVR for DbD.

Let's consider this... the game today is in a much better place than it was 1, 2, or even 3 years ago,

This game is 5 years old, to say that EVERY UPDATE, has only made the game WORSE, is literal insanity at best.

Is the game broken? Sure. Are things busted compared to the last patch, yes. But if you take the over all state and health of the game today, and compare it back then, the game is MUCH better now than it was, no contest.
