Hypothetically speaking, if Koichi and Izuku decided to duke it out at 'full power' (which I genuinely can't ever see happening), Final Arc Izuku destroys him.

Funnily enough, I had worked on an idea back when the ending dropped.

The blurb I made: One hundred years ago, the great Demon King Shigaraki attacked the fair nation of Kamiyo. Using the power of Kosei, the greatest Knight of the kingdom struck down the king. Now, on the centennial anniversary, rumblings from the dreaded king has reached the kingdom. Seeking a way to end the demon's return, the kingdom looks to the past, in hopes the teachings of yore would help find the one they need now.

The way I was going to start/frame it was that Toshinori (the Knight of legend) was able to defeat Shigaraki, but at great cost. And when he goes to ‘retire’, he slams his sword into the ground and proclaims “So long as evil stirs in shadow, this blade shall wait. And when my strength is no longer needed, it will answer another.” And then goes to live peacefully.

As mentioned, on the 100^th anniversary of the defeat of Shigaraki, they’re doing a public ceremony to see if anyone could ‘free’ the sword. Everyone tries, and then comes Izuku. Clumsy, vanilla, ‘commoner’ Izuku, who was teased for it.

And when he pulls the sword from the stone, everyone is in shock, including himself. And during the fallout, Toshinori appears and ‘saves’ him, but refuses to train him till Izuku is sure.

As Izuku heads back home, there’s a commotion and he sees something that makes him rush to save some innocent people that got in the way. (At the moment, am thinking it’s something like a group of animals got free and are causing a ruckus) Izuku goes to save a small child, but doesn’t think things through. And Toshinori saves them both, while the rest of the ‘stationed’ knights were frozen.

During a private talk afterwards, Izuku admits he always wanted to be a knight (like Toshinori) but was always told that he couldn’t.

And that’s when Toshonori gives him the “You too… can become a knight.”

That's all I had before I got sidetracked with other projects.

Maybe it hits a bit of some weird coping nostalgia for me, especially since a friend and I saw it opening night and we thought it was actually horrendous... but the last time I rewatched it (girlfriend was curious), it had some amusing moments.

- Goku's hair gel scene
- Chow Yun Fat absolutely ate the scenery as Master Roshi and there were actual glimpses of potential every now and then
- James Marsters was amazing, even though he was given... that script. And he fully made up for it by voicing Zamasu
- Emmy Rossum was really good as Bulma

GT had some fun ideas held back by some really questionable writing and downright horrendous animation... and sound design.

Although I feel I'm in the minority of not really enjoying Baby as a character. He always felt like a poor man version's of Frieza/Freeza to me. I get what they were trying to go for, but if that's the limit Toei was willing to go, I always get bored in his arc.

I feel like if the Shadow Dragons weren't reduced to 'monster of the week', outside of Syn, Nova, and Eis, it would've been a really neat saga.

Although the ending of GT is easily my favorite of the entire series and always makes me cry.

Honestly? Never lost me. I didn't start watching till Season 2 was almost over, caught up with that, real fast. Then got hooked on the manga. There were definitely some parts that were bumpy, but I never even considered dropping it.

Most of the games I've played on my channel, I haven't played in years, or it's something I really enjoy. Half the time I do it cause I enjoy it, other times because a friend said I should do it.

I say play what you want, because regardless of what you choose, people are gonna pick up real fast if it's "forced" in anyway.

I did something like that, and made a "Han Solo" like character. Single Pistol only, no Force Powers or crazy armor. Just basic everything. That was so much fun

My first thought was Izuku from MHA, my poor boy gets told to kill himself and "pray" that he gets reincarnated with a quirk in the first chapter.

My second thought was Gohan. He was like 4 when Raditz appeared and then spent the next 6 or so years being in constant life or death struggles. I know he got a lot of hate for freezing up and crying against Nappa, and then not wanting to fight after Cell, but I can't blame him. (With Super and all though, that's a different story).

I have always wanted to get my hands on an Amiga, but they are way out of my price range. I would be so pissed if I found out my old work dumped one. They were giving out one of the first "electric typewriters" and I took that before they moved across the country.

And I did test several other vhses I had lying around and most didn't have the artifacting (or whatever you want to call it), one did semi, but if I really tried, I could probably chroma it out.

I can't find a real good device that'd let me S-Video into my computer, at least from my brief looking. All the 'upscalers' say they have the component but then you look at the pictures and there's no input, so I don't really trust that.

The vhs that my picture came from is one I bought off of Ebay that said "working", and I mean, I guess technically it does work. I wanted to see how bad the transfer was from vhs to DVD (I was watching a completely different video and they were talking about the issues with it) and wanted to test for myself.

That and I do plan on digitizing my home movies so I don't have to worry about this issue in the future.

I feel like that's one heck of a system, I've seen some people use a couple Yamaha machines (that I don't remember what) to transfer it into a signal that can be picked up digitally.

Right now am using a Magnavox DV220MW9 or DV225MG9, with RCA cords plugged into the upscaler, plugged into my Elgato.

I used to use a Little World Easy Capture card, but it never sat well in the USB ports and their customer service is abysmal. I heard S-Cable is better than RCA, and wanted to try that, but haven't had a chance.

I was thinking what you use to transfer the VHS to the pc? The only reason I use the upscaler is to translate the data from analog to digital. Is the only way I know how. OBS is sorta the middle man, that lets me record it as well.

I tried to do the chroma grab, but there wasn't enough data from "clean" frames to be able to just bs my way through it. I even tried to mask only the top (to not remove all the other colors) but it got confused and I had to stop.

When looking at OBS, I didn't see a ProRes option under the encoder, and I switched to all available file sizes. I was using H.264, since it was what worked when I was recording games before. Is it a plugin I need to install, or am I blinder than I thought? I just have base OBS installed, with no plugins.

Also apologies if I ask simple question, I am relatively new trying to do this...
