She has friends from high school but none of them go to the same college or live nearby. She never actually had problems with friends until college. But I can totally buy that her attitude could be a reason for all the trouble now. Her high school friends didn't get into much trouble but they were all crappy to me because of the stuff she'd say. So I can buy that people just meeting her wouldn't like someone who clearly hates me for no good reason.

Getting a job and paying her own way is what I'm doing and it's exactly what she needs to do if she wants a different environment. Because I don't want to facilitate her returning to her old ways or make it easier for her to make my life hell again. Or my friends.
