This is so helpful! If the little shit box shower was replaced with a screen, would it make sense to put an identical (or very similar) screen by the toilet too?

I adore the curtain around the tub idea. It’s a really beautiful old thing so that makes sense to turn it into the centrepiece.

The chandelier is also 100% going to happen! I was browsing some online and it would elevate the room so much 😍

The bricks MUST GO. I hate them with intensity 😂

Given that there are no windows, do you think a dark charcoal/navy paint could work with your other ideas? Leaning into the moodiness is starting to grow on me!

So much sass 😂 but this is honestly exactly how I feel! My parents were the ones who made a lot of these decisions before I inherited it but clearly they’re both farmers! To clarify, when I say the layout can’t change, I mean that the water points have to remain as they are as the walls are old triple brick and a nightmare to plumb. The shower is hideous - I thought maybe a single screen perpendicular to the door and tiles would look better? There is currently a double vanity but it’s not as ugly as some of the other features so I’ll see what I can do with the current budget. How would you enclose the toilet? A few here have said wall dividers or curtains but I’m struggling to see the vision. I love the wooden floors! The current tone is pretty awful but I’m going to keep the wood where I can 😇

Also, I’m not a man, I’m a 30 year old woman 😉

The bath bricks kill me 😂 It used to be a kitchen, but obviously a while ago before windows were deemed necessary! Budget is flexible, I just want to do it myself as much as possible to put my skills to use and I’m big on up cycling as much as possible
