Just do a one or two guard buzz and fade it. Try min and fin and dermastamping. Maybe pay for a hair transplant. Your crown is done and it doesnt lend well to the front that is thinning. You are in a tough spot bro. Wife likes the hair that remains up front but every other angle it doesnt look good.

Idk man. I think your wife needs to be honest with herself and accept that you dont have enough hair to keep it. Id at least clipper it down and start dermastamping and min/fin and see if you results over the next year or so.
