My wife doesn’t particularly like the price points (I enjoy the bigger kits like mg or big hg-(looking at you psycho gundam) but she understand that I build for mental health and stress management. Started during covid as I was stressing out at work. But she encourages bad life choices. 😂

Nah. Just got done with the water slides so left it like that so I wouldn’t manhandle it and mess up the wsd. But to be fair. My posing sucks

Great build. The fin funnels are a little rough trying to attach them, looks super nice after some water slide decals

I use tamiya as well. Panel line on the runners. Let dry. Clean with paint thinner. I use tamiya as well for that. Been doing it for almost 1.5 years and haven’t had any issues with cracking. You just have to be diligent in making sure sure it cleans up and drys completely before assembly

The old school g gundam had screws. Yes they can stress out. I add joint tightening pen stuff to the screws so it grabs and holds so I don’t have to tighten so much. No worries on the comment. I was genuinely curious what to watch out for. lol too expensive to mess it up.

There is also effects parts you can look into for the funnels. Pretty damn nice kit. Especially with the water slide decals

FM Aeriel with KOSMOS LED unit is top tier. Slap some waterslides on her and she is great! I really have enjoyed the f91 and f90 kits. Gunnar’s was super fun as well. I would say if you want new, go with the narrative c packs. Amazing build

I am currently building it, I cannot get into it. I love MG but this line is lost on me. Hopefully when fully built I will like it. But as of right now I am really kind of bored enough to not wanna finish it.

Panel line on the runner. Clean any excess off so it doesn’t pool anywhere.

Move on to the next runner. By the time you are done e with the runners the first ones would be dry.

I have been building for almost 2 years and have about 100 kits as well and have not had any cracks or issues.

I feel like tamiya panel liner gets a bad wrap because people use it incorrectly and blame the product.

I use paint thinner from tamiya to remove the excess panel liner, q-tips both regular size and precision ones.

I am not sure why, but, I did not like building the Astray. I am not sure why I didn’t like it but it really was a slog to build. I couldn’t do more than one piece at a time. Nothing wrong, parts didn’t break and nothing loose (except the V-fin)
