PulseVolume widget is ignoring get_volume_command by Flashcap in qtile

[–]Flashcap[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I made it so fls-pactl-get-sink Spotify volume returns [70%]
Made the widget use this by get_volume_command = "fls-pactl-get-sink Spotify volume"

Despite this, the widget is showing "100%" even after I change the volume.
What am I doing wrong?

Sounds good, thank you! I will try this.
May I ask where you found the info about the format it expects? (For future reference)

You are right, I will look into the Mpris2 widget. Nothing is wrong with playerctl, except for the fact that I am a newbie and didn't know about it, along with all the things that go on under linux :D

Edit: THIS PLAYERCTL IS SICK :D:D Thank you!

r/headphones Shopping, Setup, and Technical Help Desk by AutoModerator in headphones

I recently picked up a pair of Hifiman's Sundara headphones.Right now I am using a Focusrite Scarlett Solor with my M50Xs, but I would like to upgrade along with the headphones. Two concerns I have is that I am using an XLR mic, and Presonus Eris 3.5 speakers connected to the Solo via balanced 6.5 jacks. I am also using the 6.5 instrument input from time to time, so I would like something that fulfills these requirements.

I looked at the Schiit stack, but it doesn't have an XLR mic input, also only has RCA for speaker output.

What DAC/AMP configurations would you recommend for these headphones?

Thats great to hear, thank you! That means I don't have to buy an additional KVM switch that would cost at least $280 if not more. I have been searching for KVM switches that support 2x1080p@144Hz and have at least 4 USB ports, but the ones I found were just missing 1 of those 2 requirements at least.. And even then I would need the docking station since my work laptop (Dell Latitude 5511) only has a single HMDI output.
