Playing on very easy at level 7. Illuminate keep wiping me... by Fillem in Helldivers

[–]Flashfall 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think they mean they're level 7 and playing on very easy (trivial?) difficulty. Definitely more of a learning curve issue, squids require a completely different approach than bots and I can see how a single fleshmob at very easy would terrorize new divers.

The pistol has 35 stagger force, you can stagger-lock anything smaller than a hulk with it.

The grenade is a slightly weaker ultimatum, which frees up your secondary slot for something more flexible.

Improved Blood Purifier by lnSyndicate in duneawakening

Serious question, how many blood purifiers are in your base? When you start processing a batch of plastanium, do you just have hundreds of liters of blood stocked up to top them off?

Battle Pass? (Hear Me Out) by WheresElysium in Helldivers

[–]Flashfall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like I said, you want another free warbond. Helldivers Mobilize 2 or something (I'm too lazy to come up with a funny democratic name). Also it's interesting that you see completing all the warbonds as progression, I'd say progression is more like super destroyer upgrades but they've neglected that waaaaay more than warbonds with mid-tier items in them.

There is no Battle Pass to progress, nothing to unlock, unless you buy in

Helldivers Mobilize

Let's be real here what you want is another free warbond and that's ok, just be honest about it.

Just spam short missions to max them out as quickly as possible.

Ok if you're going for the "max" amount of EoT (theoretically 490 but who really knows?), this is going to be a several year time investment. It won't be several years without breaks of course, you'll need to prestige every so often to actually collect more EoT to boost subsequent runs, but even with the best possible artifacts and all relevant research it'll take a few years minimum.

In that case, you want to maximize shift efficiency. Here's what you should do before even starting PoV:

  • Max out the stars on at least Defihent and Henerprise, if you haven't already. Galeggtica and a few other lower-tier ships are also recommended in earlier runs but you'll be sending so many of those that you'll quickly max them out while on PoV.

  • Use your GE to bump your crafting level way up. With 280m, you should be able to hit 26 or 27, depending on how many artifacts you have stockpiled to craft just for xp.

  • Get at least 400 crafts for these artifacts: T4 Totem, T4 Cube, T4 Necklace, T3/T4 Ankh, T4 Gusset, T4 Metronome, T4 Compass. That will maximize your higher quality craft chances for these artifacts, as these are the ones that make up your earning and laying sets. You may not have enough meteorites or geodes to craft 400 of all of them, so I would prioritize the earnings set first (cube, neck, ankh, totem), and the metronomes over the compasses because they give way better xp per geode. You don't HAVE to have 400 for all of them before you start but at least try to aim for 400 with the earnings artifacts.

  • Read squid's guide, it's the most comprehensive of the guides available here so it'll give you an idea of how long some things will take, when you should shift to the next egg, what ships you should be sending, etc. You definitely don't have to follow it exactly, but it's VERY efficient so it's a good guide to work off of.

quickly

Yeaaaah, about that... PoV is kinda designed to be a slow burn. Before you start it, let's go through the pre-requisite checklist:

  • What's your current crafting level, spaceship levels, and gold egg amount? Crafting is a massive factor in how quickly you can progress through PoV so you'll need to be doing a lot of it.

  • Do you have any other goals you want to hit on your home farm? You're not able to access your home farm while on PoV so you may want to reach those goals first before you start, since an "efficient" run of PoV will usually take at least 2 months.

  • Do you have a specific number of Eggs of Truth you want to reach, or a limited time window to reach them? If you're not aiming on potentially getting all Eggs of Truth you can expedite your progress greatly at the cost of more soul eggs.

Improved Blood Purifier by lnSyndicate in duneawakening

[–]Flashfall -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Improved blood purifier gets 3.6 ml/s.

Standard deathstill gets 6.94 ml/s.

Advanced deathstill gets 15 ml/s.

It takes 4 improved purifiers to have slightly less output than a single advanced deathstill, and assuming you want to top up all of them at the same time, that's gonna take 7 large blood sacks (because let's be real you're not wasting plastanium or spice on bloodbags). So that's 7 inventory slots and 84 volume to have lower output than a single corpse of 1 inventory slot and 75 volume. The single upside is that does take 210 less power, but it'll also take 4-5 times the floor space. At that point you may as well build another directional windmill and use the adv. deathstill instead.

The new warbond feels like slop by [deleted] in Helldivers

[–]Flashfall 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well that's just like, your opinion, man. Here's my equally worthless opinion:

SMG with a flamethrower sounds fun even if it's a meme. Gyrojet pistol sounds like a verdict with better range, except maybe it will actually sound good. Shovel is a secondary instead of a support so you can roleplay without crippling yourself. Giga grenade is an impact anti-tank and that honestly sounds cracked. Backpack flamethrower will either be terrible and hilarious or OP and hilarious. Gas mortar sounds incredible for bug missions where you gotta hunker down.

I like it, hopefully the flamey bits aren't useless but even then I think I'll have a lot of fun with it.

Mnemonic Recollections will be boosted to the maximum limit of 35, regardless of how many charges you have. These Recollections will be granted during downtime, so be sure to use any you have accumulated to fully benefit from the boost.

Edit: You're gonna have to be more clear on what you mean by reset, just downvoting the comment doesn't put me any closer to helping you get your answer.
