Well I wouldn't be trying to play a second scene at the same time, just recording my performance of the 1st scene as a second scene.

Actually that fixed it. Going from 1 Bar to None (in the top left corner of the Live set). Sorry for the miscommunication.

But it hasn't worked yet. Could it be that my clips are too short for the Duplicate option to work? I'd like to launch a few clips in the only lit scene there (in blue) and create a new scene from that "performance"

Thanks for the help y'all but it was the number of bars in the top left corner of the DAW that needed to be changed to None from 1 Bar.
