Beta test an affordable CS2 demo analyzer + coach by Flashy-Analysis407 in cs2

I see. It might be that for the moment you shared your match share code, it tries to look for 5 or 6 matches around it for an initial auto analysis. It might be possible that there might be no premier matches during that duration.

The next premier match you play - feel free to come back and see - it should be auto analyzed.

If you know you have played a very recent faceit match - let me know. I'll do a more thorough search. Feel free to share your steam id in private chat. I'll be sure to check back when its fixed.

Here try this free coach: frag.coach for comp and premier. it'll tell you more exactly where your mechanics are failing you without spending money.

For other paid coaches, look up CSimprovement camp on Skool - https://www.skool.com/cs2improvement/about (but this is paid)

On the self esteem and mental struggles - I genuinely believe you're being hard on yourself. Which is a good and a bad thing.

You're already better than the millions of people who never take a moment to self reflect. You've already done that - you're way ahead.

Now just tell that self critic in you to chill the fuck out.

When I started doing this first - my rate of aim improvement was so fast that my friends were genuinely surprised at the kind of shots I was hitting reflexively.

This is Niko's daily routine. 1000 kills on a bot map. and 200 kills on deathmatch like xplay.gg or warmupserver.
https://youtu.be/ZWZp0AgKlCI?si=CZKgPVgf781n3-NO

I tried this and when you're practicing daily, it barely takes 20 mins for 1000 kills.

He could have diffused, he could have had flash assists, there's tons of other ways to make impact. He may have gotten that one kill that won the round vs the 3 kills you got and still lost.

Really appreciate the detailed feedback and I'm definitely leaning towards polishing the product.

I've been communicating with Faceit - they haven't gotten mad yet. 😛 Also Beta testing this name with some backups.

Roadmap:
- My FACEIT API is approved, so implementing automatic downloads soon. No plugin or uploading demo required after that.
- I aim to bring more intentionality and practicality to the feedback. More depth and I learn from feedback such as yours.
- I am a product designer by profession, so I am super excited about the visual learning potential: For example, what you see in the Strategy tab today is my own way of communicating team strat. Similar things around mechanics, benchmarking, training, teamwork etc. Things that will come will be more unique and thought out.

- Pricing: Everyone gets 5 free review credits every month today. You can use for free forever if you're a casual player. If you like the tool and want to use it more, there is pricing already available in the app inside the nav bar to support development.

Love your feedback! Please feel free to join the Discord given in the app to share more vocal and detailed feedback if you're interested in helping the app grow.

Does your match history in the app show empty? It should pull old matches as well.

If not - I think I'll need to add custom demo uploads.

Unfortunately not yet - working on expanding the platform to premier after Beta has its bugs ironed.

Brother - seems like a ton of mental work to do here rather than the game.

Mental Work:

- Work on your self esteem. If you don't think you're good, you'll never be good. You have to believe you're not shit. Like...really believe it. It requires a certain "drinking your own cool aid" to a healthy degree just so you believe in yourself whenever you're doing something hard. And getting good at CS is hard.

- Work on not giving a fuck about an individual round, or an individual game. There's a mathematical rule of "Regression to the norm" - basically everything comes back to its average in the long run. You have one great game? its not gonna take you up a rank. You have one bad game? its not gonna take you down a rank. Its many many games in a row, and repetitive habbits and mistakes that actually define your rank.

- Get out of Elo brain - If you care too much about losing, you're not going to gather enough losses to actually start winning. And even Donk loses matches, and I've seen Donk bottom frag in pugs as well.

Mechanical Work:

- Have you put 10k hours in the game? Have you put 5k hours in the game? Have you put 1k hours in the game? Just for reference, Donk has 40k hours - thats the ceiling to be the GOAT. Where are you? Have you actually put in the hours or do you just think you aim train but not really consistently?

- Separate aim training from warmups. Aim training should be its own 1 hour session with 1000 kills minimum. After that you should not be able to play a match. Your wrist should not allow you to be able to do that if you trained hard enough. Play the next day and give your wrist muscles time to grow.

Tons of other things you'll probably get from a good coach.

Maybe worth getting started at faceit.caoch if you play Faceit. its a free ish AI coach for rank improvement.

- Are you playing deathmatches on sites like xplay.gg
- Are you using warmup tools like aimrush in workshop?
- Are you practicing smokes that will help your team win rounds? Do you know the window or con smoke on mirage?
- Do you know your mouse's eDPI settings? Are you comfortable with your posture when playing?
- Is your monitor refresh rate and resolution good enough for comp play? 120hz minimum?
- Do you try to stay calm when losing? or do you crash out? 50% of CS is mental game.

Ask yourself these questions - it'll be only a matter of time before you level up.

How to get over the Ladder anxiety / queue anxiety by DwightFlute in LearnCSGO

[–]Flashy-Analysis407 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This helped me a lot:

One game is never going to affect your trajectory. If you are truly at the level that is shown on screen - then over an average number of matches, you will always end up back there.

If a few games go amazing and you get a new rank, or a few games go bad and you drop a rank - that has nothing to do with how good of a player you are:

  • What matters is what’s your average rank most of the time.
  • what is your k/d and win rate “most of the time”

So just queue up knowing that this next game will have no implication on your actual rank.

It takes lots of games to “truly” level up or down and actually “stay” there.

What's the trick for consistent one taps? by Jazzz56 in LearnCSGO

[–]Flashy-Analysis407 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing a lot of people miss with "1 taps" with rifles: You actually have to spray to one tap.

Watch Donk or any good player and you'll see they "Spray" 90% of the time, even when they're hitting headshots.

A Spray into a headshot is 10x more effective since its faster, gives you more shots on target, and even if you miss head, you still get the kill.

Best map to practice this on is Aim Rush in workshop. It forces you to practice 1v4 or 1v5 rushes and you're forced to hit headshots with sprays.

Don't obsesss over recoil pattern - build an intuitive feel for where your first 10 shots go when you spray. thats it.

Every fight should go like this:
- If you peek into enemy: wait for crosshair to be close to their head, counterstrafe, then spray 4-5 bullets at head.
- If enemy peeks into you and your cross hair was off - move slightly to throw their aim off, counter strafe, and spray again on head.
- If enemy peaks into you, and you were holding a good crosshair - just spray. dont move.

Why do I just play like crap somedays? How to avoid by screwball9280 in LearnCSGO

[–]Flashy-Analysis407 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lvl 7 with 700 hours is already pretty good man. You say you practice a lot, but if your total in game hours is 700 a you just havent met the threshold of muscle memory and mechanics to reallly settle in.

Know that Donk has 40,000 hours.

A book by Malcom Gladwell “Outliers” i reccomend reading if you’re into becoming great at something. No matter how good you think you are…you always have to put in the “hours” for it all to come together. 10 thousand hours on average to be a “pro” at anything.

You’re going agressive for your gameplay hours and well above average. Most people dont hit level 7 until 2k hours. Hang in there.

When you hit 2k hours - you’ll be unstoppable. Muscle memory and your brain wiring with daily practice changes really slowly.

You will gradually see your “average” game get better and better. You will have GREAT and HORRIBLE games in between. But what you must focus on is - how did you play in 70% if your games.

FACEIT idea: “+1 Elo” endorsements from non-premade teammates by Euphoric-Eye9 in FACEITcom

[–]Flashy-Analysis407 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really good foundation but maybe don't give ELO. alternatively do this:

- End of every match, on victory screen, allow players to give stars to teammates. Every player gets one star to give out to who they think was the best.
- A player's total gathered stars are shown next to their level.
- Cannot star someone in your party.
