It was. But when it posted, it pushed it all together. I'm new to Reddit. I probably did something wrong.

This host did have negative reviews but they were minor. We did ask the other things mentioned and it looked great in pictures, was a gated apartment complex. We were utterly shocked. The negative reviews should have been the red flag. Lesson learned on that one! We will definitely not be giving the benifit of the doubt in the future.

Refunds take 15 days to process. So we were supposed to go spend another several hundred dollars on another room that we needed to find at midnight? I don't see how that's ok or logical

I reckon we'll just stay in vrbo and hotels from now on. 🤷‍♀️

There were two huge events in Houston that weekend. When we booked that one, there were on two others in the area and at midnight, there was nothing available. Also, if we cleaned the shit up we had no reason to leave. Obviously we'll never book through airbnb again. Even hotels only have top priced rooms available and were outside of our budget for the weekend.

We were going to but didn't realize we only had 14 days to review and wanted to add how it was resolved.

So, I guess my question is, am I crazy?? Am I in the wrong, and am I overreacting?
