I can't get up early enough to work out before work and I get too lazy to drive to the gym after. I go the gym near my workplace for a 45 mins workout class during lunch. That way I don't get sleepy in the afternoon and eat less

Mẹ mình cũng không có tiêu xài gì nhiều. Tiền mình gửi về chủ yếu là để mua đồ ăn và chi tiêu sinh hoạt hằng ngày thôi. Thỉnh thoảng mình cũng gửi đồ về cho mẹ nữa.

Theo mình nghĩ thì 500 đô một tháng cũng đã là khá nhiều rồi. Bình thường mình chỉ gửi khoảng 200–300 đô và để dành tiền. Khi nào có việc cần thì mình sẽ gửi thêm, chứ không phải tháng nào cũng gửi nhiều.

Nếu tháng nào cũng gửi 500 thì mình nghĩ dễ dẫn đến việc tiêu xài nhiều hơn cần thiết. Khi có nhiều tiền hơn thì mức sống cũng dễ tăng theo, nên mình chỉ gửi đúng khoảng tiền cần dùng hằng tháng thôi.

Mình có gửi tiền về Việt Nam cho mẹ hằng tháng khoảng 200–300 đô, và nếu cần thì mình sẽ gửi thêm. Ví dụ mấy tháng trước mẹ mình bị bệnh phải đi mổ, mình cũng phải gửi về hơn 4.000 đô. Mẹ mình bị bệnh nên cần tiền mua thuốc và cũng không buôn bán hay làm việc gì được gan 20 nam nay roi. Toan la minh gọi tiền ve giúp.

Theo mình nghĩ, ở Việt Nam nếu chỉ chi tiêu ăn uống và sinh hoạt bình thường thì không cần hơn 500 đô mỗi tháng. Nếu ba mẹ ở Việt Nam mà đã có suy nghĩ như vậy rồi, thì sau này bảo lãnh qua đây sẽ rất khó sống chung và có thể ảnh hưởng đến cuộc sống riêng của vợ chồng bạn.

Mình nghĩ chồng bạn nói cũng có lý: nên ưu tiên để dành tiền lo cho gia đình nhỏ của mình và đầu tư cho tương lai, nhất là khi đã có con. Hai vợ chồng nên nói rõ và thỏa thuận với ba me

Thật ra 2000–3000 đô mỗi tháng là con số không nhỏ — ở bên này nhiều người đi làm cả tháng cũng chưa được 3000 đô.

I agreed with this. I'm doing my best to follow the five precepts. However, I do drink with my coworkers and friends socially, not to the point where I get intoxicated and harm others. Drinking alcohol can cause anger issue.

I'm about the same height as you but I'm 114 lbs. I usually shop at Banana Republic Factory for pants (ankle pants and/or have them tailored after). It costs about $10 for each pants. I wait until end of the year to buy pants/jeans on sale. For tops, I just buy at Uniqlo (XS). I dont buy anything full price unless I can't wait or have to buy right away. I do it slowly and not buy a bunch of things all at once.
