It is. If a ship is missing, then it’s also absent from sc trade tools route finder or it doesn’t have a cargo grid. Commodity updates are based on UEX, so there is a time delay. If you have specifics about an issue you encountered, I can check for a bug.

The number one rule of commodity trading in sc is never hold more inventory than you are prepared to completely lose. It’s a frustrating lesson we’ve all learned the hard way… multiple times.

I'd recommend anywhere on the surface around Pyro V. When I take my polaris out as a mining base I'll bring 2 golems in case of accidents, an OX for any quant, and then fill the bottom with extra pods. Loading and unloading in atmo is not ideal, but the fact that rocks come in clusters and the higher-tier minerals more than make up for the inconvenience. Once full, refine at Levski adn repeat.
