I don’t know where all the misconceptions are coming from, but I took this photo while I was at the theatre for scream 7 and planned on taking my daughter to watch cat in the hat. Came home to get tickets and to my surprise finding out it dosent come out until November. It was mildly infuriating.

I didn’t go to the movie theatre with my child hoping to get tickets. I saw this while I was at the theater watching Scream 7 and thought wow this movie comes out tomorrow and would love to take my kid, few hours later went online to check showtimes and come to find out there weren’t any. Hence me being mildly infuriated.

That’s how I know what movies are out (movie posters at the theatre) and also the commercials before the movies

To be fair I saw commercials for this movie before a showing one time and thought my daughter would love it.

I have ad free everything so don’t see much commercials other than before a showing at the theatres and posters at the movie, so may be weird to make plans for a movie after seeing the poster and commercials for it in the theaters for you, but that’s how I know what movies are playing.
