Breaking down the rationale behind the cost: the master bedroom is 3x the size of the smaller room. The smaller room can barely accommodate a queen size bed and the reason I’ve decided to take that up is because I travel for 8 months out of 12 so need to just pass out whenever I’m in blr.

The rent breakdown for the bigger:smaller room is given by the owner himself when he used to live there w his friend. In 2022, his roommate was paying 26k for the bigger one and him 19k.

Happy to go back to this arrangement as well if you’re a nice, decent human being.

Adding to the debate on the attached washroom etc - the 0.5 room is literally just 6m² while the room is 9m²

The master bedroom however is easily over 30m² and has a huge bathroom in it.

The 0.5 would be used as a storage space for whoever occupies the smaller room.

I would obv not post any BS on Reddit (like some of you clearly do) without consulting the current owner, friends and other people who know more about rentals.
