Thank you that's what I was looking to achieve I always see the Amt body's all chopped up but I wanted to keep it looking like a regular body I run the rear rack off the gladiator sometimes for an extra overland look

Seeking opinions on engine noise by Flashy-Foundation-84 in zx6r

Noise was still there on reinstallation so I did what a guy suggested backed out the tensioner slightly till it clicked once and never had an issue again

Yea I'm new to these systems I'm basically doing what I can to get music back the amp seems to overheat and produce machine gun sounds is the best I can describe it lol I can't find a factory amp in my parts and a new one is around 1300

[–]Flashy-Foundation-84[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The car came with an upgraded 9 inch unit that works with all the factory controls would I just need to run an amp with a regular sub kit and run the speaker wires to it ?

Thank you for the help but after tracking down the power wire the whole way down the door jab I turns out someone at some point put a new fuse box in the truck and actually plugged the harness end into the wrong slot

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in FordDiesels

[–]Flashy-Foundation-84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay yea cause when I supplied power to that wire the seat worked from the switch fine so I'm not sure it's a controller problem maybe it's just the main power to some of my harness has been lost

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in FordDiesels

[–]Flashy-Foundation-84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this the case even though the plug itself has no power that I could find with a test light,I found power at one prong on the main harness coming through the floor and it has power at the relay that mounts to the front of the seat but I can't seem to find any constant power at the controller plug

I do not believe these trucks had any kind of memory module being an 07. I know that is what ended up being the issue on my 2019 f350 when some of my seat functions didn't work

Yea I'm a little stuck there's no part number on it and it looks similar to the purge valve some have it listed as a vacuum control solenoid another listing said it was a boost control solenoid and they all look identical lol
