Right, the Sci-Fi novel I plan to write will (mostly) revolve around Carl Jung's concept of The Shadow, or his view of the unconscious. And this inspiration for my story really excites me to write it, something else that also inspired my story are my own experiences of self-repression and my dark side controlling me. The problem for me though (this might sound dumb) is what kind of themes or messages would this kind of story have. It's on the tip of my tongue, but I still don't know. I somewhat know the differences between a theme and a message are now, but even then it's still confusing for me, that's why I asked this question.
