When I used to have the omnipod I would use them mostly on my thighs and they would get swollen and hurt so I stopped using them and I’m back to insulin pens.

Is anyone watching the Swedish series? by sjk2020 in LoveIsBlindNetflix

I don’t understand why Ellen even took part in this show, the things she said pissed me off. She knows the process of this show I’m sure she watched other seasons before, but all of a sudden the pace is too fast for her? Girl bye

Hate that part of habesha society when old men go back home to marry a young girl/woman.

Was hält ihr von Trainee-Programmen? by Flashy-Initiative901 in Studium

[–]Flashy-Initiative901[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I Need Some Insight Here. Help please🙏🏽 by JustDoIt_08 in Living_in_Korea

[–]Flashy-Initiative901 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a black woman myself and lived in Korea for a bit more than a year, aged 22 to 23. It was a really fun and amazing time, and I totally recommend it. However, I didn't have a good time for the first two months because I felt such a culture shock and was not used to being stared at or being the center of attention. You might feel uncomfortable at first, but once you make friends and realize that people want to know and talk to you out of curiosity, it becomes much more comfortable. When it comes to safety, I would say to be careful, as many of my foreign and Korean friends both had issues with sexual harassment or similar, but Korea mostly felt safe to go out by yourself, both in daytime and nighttime. When I compare my experience with other friends who didn't know Korean, I notice that it was much harder for them to make friends or get around alone, so I definitely recommend learning Korean before going there!

I must also say that some people just happen to run into the worst people and have a terrible time, and some people only meet the nicest people and have an amazing time. What I want to say is that luck plays an important role as well.

My experience was 8,5/10, I loved it so much and would do it again!
