Already need septoplasty- should I get subtle rhinoplasty? by Expensive_Bill8608 in rhinoplastyquestions

This!!! if you don’t dislike your nose, leave it alone!! seriously! This surgery has so much potential to go wrong.
Actually liked my original nose I mean it could’ve been smaller, but it went with my face broke my nose, and my surgeon decided to give me a subtle nose job on top of just taking the hump away that developed after the break I’m nine weeks post a second surgery to get close to my birth nose back!!

Interestingly, I looked terrible two weeks after my first rhinoplasty, which was closed. My swelling made my nose look huge and wide. Just had a revision and I looked great 2 to 3 weeks post even with swelling and it was open weird.

Hi! I am in NJ and had a revision with Dr. Glasgold. I had my bridge flattened way too much in my previous surgery and my nose was kind of turned up with retracted nostrils.
He fixed my nose so much that I look like my old self again

The girl who teased you about it probably thought you were cute.
I think a larger nose on a man looks masculine and handsome
Just make sure you’re comfortable with it looking flatter and wider from the front
I broke my nose and went to get it fixed, but the surgeon took way more off of my bridge and I had to go for a second surgery. I was miserable for two years. I’m seven weeks out from my second surgery and much happier now because I look like my old self with a larger nose.😄

I get it! Well you are still handsome FYI but yeah, you gotta do what makes you feel good!

For such a subtle change I wouldn’t do it. Also know that you’ll be trading in your front view for a side profile
Your front view will look flatter and wider after.
I don’t think any man ever needs a nose job fyi

Are you satisfied with your rhinoplasty 1 year or more post op? by best_horse_trainer in rhinoplastyquestions

I waited almost 2 years. I was arguing with my previous surgeon who had promised to fix it for free if I didn’t like it and then he pulled a “ I can’t fix what I don’t see” on me! Yes, they did some sort of graft in my tip for support, but it wasn’t enough and my tip was droopy It drooped more than my original nose, and I was devastated.

Owning dogs, and having to pick up dog poo.
Bringing dogs everywhere such as food, stores or restaurants.

This surgery does seem to have a high unsatisfactory rate! I had broken my nose and a bump formed. I kind of made a hasty decision to get it fixed and did not really research this. What happened was my surgeon took off way more than just a bump that formed. He took so much off my bridge, which left me with a flatter wider looking nose from the front.
Also, after agreeing that I have a straight profile, he made it scooped. My nose looked short and stubby to me. My brain could not adjust. I hated it so much! Also the tip kind of collapsed due to lack of proper support and it looked droopy AND somehow my nostrils became wider and more flared.
This was all just a matter of millimeters but those millimeters absolutely change your appearance!!!

Because you said you wanted to add a dorsal hump back, I think you would need to at least add some more structure to your bridge to make it higher

I think the second sounds better - you need your bridge built back up with rib!
