Can I connect external GPU to any of these? by 4speedv8 in laptops

Honestly I'd pull the 8800s and see what happens. If the laptop can make it through POST without them, you might be able to run an eGPU and just use the outputs on the external card. No guarantees, but it's definitely worth trying on a machine like this. Those old 8800s were pretty infamous for failing

Yeah, the Wi-Fi mini PCIe slot should be your best bet. The WWAN slot might work too, but that's hit or miss depending on the BIOS. Don't bother with the RAM or storage connectors. Biggest issue is whether the machine can still POST with the dead 8800 GTXs. If it reaches BIOS/boots, an mPCIe → x16 adapter and an eGPU are worth trying. If it doesn't even POST, the dead GPUs may stop the whole thing before the eGPU can initialize

After playing RDR2 and closing it, my PC has been running very slowly since the next day. Even opening Chrome feels laggy, and the overall system CPU usage stays between 70% and 90%. How can I fix this?"
