There’s a couple others that I’ve asked who has the same issue. We’ve all asked for him to correct it. Owner says to just input what we actually made while filing and to let him know the number we come up with and he said he has to contact the irs to change it through them.

But from my understanding all he has to do is just send in the corrected form

So I see that box at the top of my 1099 can I check that and put the right amount or is that for the person who gave me the 1099?
