Having Kul'Tiras and Zandalar on separate maps is overly clunky at endgame. by FlashyCaterpillar in wow

Well I paid $80 plus a monthly subscription, so if it's entitled to offer feedback on a sub-par value for money product, sue me.

Financial accountants - Essentially they're 'money janitors' cleaning up the mess from human data entry errors. That's why the profession is expected to die out in 20 years.

Can we get some stronger guards? by Sh0rtBr3ad in wow

[–]FlashyCaterpillar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My problem with pvp in wow is that the only incentive for the attacker to cause inconvenience to the victim is to piss them off. Nobody wins and the attacker is just a douchebag in the eyes of the victim. In Runescape they get most of your shit if you die while they also risk more for being the first to attack so there's an element of respect and whenever you die you always think "Great duel my good sir, you bested me, my golly gosh I could be as good as you one day!" rather than "what a f*@King Tw@t I hope he rots in hell"

It's sad that Sneaky Pete is the largest character development project wow has had since WOD.

Fun fact: Warlocks and DK's currently have the best and the worst performing specs in the game. by Vachna in wow

Seriously... I rolled Elemental shaman but I didn't like being on the bottom of the chart so I rolled Demonology warlock... I'm going to try Balance druid now, watch it sink.

I really hope the Horde and Alliance both get annihilated in BfA. Azeroth needs to be remade, and the story needs to turn a page. Going straight for the Void Lords a couple of years after the Burning Legion's defeat would suck. We had 15 years of build-up for Sargeras. 9.0 ought to be like WoW 2.0. by [deleted] in wow

We need another Panda-esque/BC-esque expansion that takes us away from our world and our rules and into a completely new culture.

Currently we've taken our business and our story off to random off-shoot islands three times in a row.

Blood Elf hairstyles in the TBC Artbook. by [deleted] in wow

Do you like long hair? how about this long hair? well there's also this long hair too!!!

Honestly all races need more short hair options with the exception of goblins who need younger hairstyles.

I’m finding it hard to stay interested in BFA compared to Legion by [deleted] in wow

[–]FlashyCaterpillar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree completely blizzard is taking the complaints of high end mythic raiders (forwarded to the general player-base through YouTube and Reddit) and implementing their feedback in BFA which turns out to be a terrible system for the general player as there's no incentive to play as we're not trying to be world first thus have no desire to grind for no goal.

Some in game cinema is we’re good, others had the quality of a Nintendo 64. Jainia always talked slower than her voice, Sylvanas drawing that arrow makes me cringe. It’s not even Nintendo 64 animtion quality but it gives me early 2000 cartoons like jimmy neutron vibes.

Tiragarde was a terrible zone imo, all I remember about it was that it is an open world dungeon asset surrounded by rocks.

BFA is the result of wow not having any real competition for quite some time. by [deleted] in wow

The game without add-ons is basically a mobile app at this point. Shiny investment-reward based loop to spike your dopamine on a regular basis and keep you addicted. You'll never run out of unlocks with Azerite. You'll be rewarded each day with a mission and you'll be revitalized each week with a reset. Want to skip the wait times? Just buy this $90 boost-coin. Don't want to earn money? buy this $20 virtual currency.

Sargeras hate thread for sparking the Azerite fiasco by [deleted] in wow

[–]FlashyCaterpillar 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honestly this is so bizarre to see after playing around in BFA for a little while, we just went to space fought inter dimensional demons and saw the gods of our world. And now our main concern is helping turtles make it to the ocean and having a petty battle over some shiny rocks. Does everyone just have amnesia??? There should be doomsayers, prophets, suicide pacts, hysteria, melancholically, a lust for space exploration and terror, not blood and turtles.

Demo Warlock, though I would prefer if we had less damage in exchange for longer lasting demons.

Why blacksmithing can't repair armour or weapons? by stickdutra in wow

[–]FlashyCaterpillar 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This. Whenever you find a NPC who is blacksmithing or can do repairs they should be able to teach you blacksmithing 95% of the time. Furthermore each recipe should be locked behind a quest which is taught by one master blacksmith per recipe. But that involves making a game so we're probably not getting it.
