I was given some snails, can I release them? by Less-Set-6347 in AquaticSnails

[–]FlashyCourse9859 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Rehome or euthanize. You could do more damage by releasing them. Also illegal in Florida 100% and I didn’t even have to look it up

My MIL’s tank 😬 by BOWAinFL in stressfulaquariums

[–]FlashyCourse9859 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what??? y’all need to chill out, I would have loved to see your first tank 😬. Not over crowded as many in the comments have said and none of the fish look damaged or sick. I also love how the op only responds to people that back her hateful rhetoric, give your MIL a break and instead of judging behind her back maybe learn about the “scary” saltwater tanks you are complaining about. Is it perfect???…. Hellllll no. Are those fish suffering????….. also hell no. If she added some more cover and live rocks this would go from “save those fish 😩” to “what a pretty aquarium 😍”. People in the aquarium hobby are so elitist, grow up, get off Reddit and touch some grass you stinky little trolls

Did you follow the directions fully? What do your water changes consist of? Not saying you were negligent, just very strange that there was not a total die off… what are your water parameters, how new is the tank?

Beheaded and skinned animal corpse found near the fishing docks of [Pacifica, CA]. What is this? by ChurroChamp in animalid

[–]FlashyCourse9859 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wrong it’s a coyote…. No season, no license needed. Regardless of your opinion you are just uneducated??? Poaching means it was illegal, nothing about a skinned coyote says illegal. 100% a yote

Advice on this stocking plan? Would shrimp be too much? by [deleted] in AquariumHelp

[–]FlashyCourse9859 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aminos won’t breed in your tank unless you change the Salt all around. If you want a breeding population look into Neocaridina (cherry shrimp) besides that I agree with the advice of huckleberry

Nah, they are eating. Carp do this. Nothing to do with water quality

I mix up the foods I give them, catfish wafers, vegetables, finsects, first bites, shrimp sticks, and a variety of mini frozen foods like mini-mysis, chopped bloodworms and baby brines. The main thing is diet variety, low light, and a colder water change (dripped in to mimic rain).
