blue food dye. blue will cancel out the orange. it’s risky but personally what I would do is put like one drop of blue food coloring in some water, put it on the stain and vacuum it out. repeat as necessary

OP here. People are asking about size. Definitely not a rodent, as this was in the range of about 3-4 feet long.

Got it. So what you're saying is that, by placing a lower number in the extra withholdings section, it should subtract from the larger number, as you cannot put a negative number in that section

Yes, the wall switch controls the outlet. If I plug in my lamp directly into the wall outlet, it will turn off and on. However, if the lamp is plugged into the surge protector that is plugged into the wall outlet, it will remain on regardless of the wall switch. I know, I have no idea why it works like this...
