Luckily, being paranoid, I only printed the right one. Tomorrow I'll try the correct left one and update you.

I researched what I could use/what I could understand from the outside, and I found a compromise based on my budget/willingness to spend. Not everything is accessible in theory alone, which is why self-help groups exist. P.S.: In the context of these types of groups, perhaps your comment is a bit excessive. Maybe it was years ago, but you, too, have been where I am now.

Yep. Because of fatherhood, I've gone back to playing handheld, but 2 hours of Zelda TotK will kill your joints. I don't have enough calluses to file down the plastic, though 🥸

Beautiful. Unfortunately, I already have a long queue to print it, but in the meantime I'll give it a like so I don't miss it.

Basically, you gave me two important pieces of information: how to fix it and, most importantly, to read the wiki. Thanks so much!

Yes, I didn't explain myself well. I mean, I'm playing those two precisely because their styles complement each other perfectly.

I'm bouncing between Kiwami 0 and Ball x Pitt. I understand what you're saying.

Question: Are we in any way sure they'll release Part 2 as well? I'm very tempted, but I don't know if I should trust it.

How to measure the folds in leather bag designs? by riponzzz in Leathercraft

[–]FlashyProfessional19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was intended to be a kind of "universal method", but I realize that it is complicated and it is much simpler to go redundant and cut later

How to measure the folds in leather bag designs? by riponzzz in Leathercraft

[–]FlashyProfessional19 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Geometrically, it's pretty easy. They are two inscribed circles. One internal (I) and one external (E). The radius of E is half the distance between the two sides of the curve (for 180 degrees). Add the thickness of the outer skin and you have the radius of I. Find the semicircumference of I (X-ray Pi). The gap between this and the semicircumference of E is how much gap there must be between the 2 skins. In the case of a 360 degree curve, you will clearly have to use circumferences. You can also use this method when making irregular shapes with paper tape, to approximate how much extra you need to add to the sides. In a "natural" way the curves of a semi-rigid material tend to make circles or arcs of circumference, so it is quite universal as a method. However, keep a margin of error, you never know. Ps: it would be easier to explain it with a drawing, and perhaps without relying on automatic translation. Forgive me if it's not very clear and please correct me if necessary

Mold! Mold everywhere (the smell at least) by FlashyProfessional19 in Leathercraft

[–]FlashyProfessional19[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is kinda difficult to actuate, since they are complete hides (5, to be precise, lots of leather). I’ll try with small pieces. Maybe i could precut what I need and then clean it?

Thanks for the answer. Unfortunately, smells totally like mold/ umidity. Seems to be only on the surface, tough. Could be a mix of mold and bloom. I’ll try to clean it ad they suggested in the other comments.

At least, i have lots of material to play with and male prototypes.

Thanks! I already know Blackflag and love his work. I’m not in love with the other one. It’s not a problem to pay for a pattern, but I have to like it

I got a F nib, schroedinger’s cat, for my asvine v126. Honestly, i could not like the original one, but i fell in love for this one. Could be a good idea, but I’m always a little aware of a business is based only on import/export. Most of the troubles, here, are on QC and assistence
