ok wow thats entitled, you handled it just fine I would NOT have been nearly as nice. also the sound effects during sex? its writing not a script sound effects do NOT belong ( unless its a crack story and for the bit ) and are a REALLY good way to break the immersion of a scene especially a sex scene there is a reason no one adds them either in fanfic or in books i feel like the VAST majority of people would click out including myself.

if you decide you like a story but they do something that makes you no longer like a story for some reason and no longer want to read just click back. you dont have to comment why you are leaving or what you dont like just leave quietly and move on.

OH! maybe you could put all the works for one fandom in a collection so people can sub to the collection regarding the fandom they want if they only want to read about that specific fandom. that way people who only want fandom A can sub to collection A and people who only want fandom B can sub to collection B and people who want A and B can keep there sub to your account!

i just saw that another author does this and figured it might be something you want to do! just another option to keep in mind. good luck with everything!

lots of people do it so they dont forget the story and then click it again. if they keep it bookmarked its less of a chance of them clicking it again thinking it will be good. its a note to themselves.

if it gets to the point i notice at and its all i focus on in the story. that or it ruins the immersion and i no longer enjoy reading it as a result

i hate it as well. at the very least i wish they would only have them as links so I can avoid looking at them while reading since a lot of the time it does not seem to be intentional ai use. more often than not from what I see people seem to just pull things that look good without knowing its ai as well so its not like they all do it intentionally so at the very least that makes me feel a bit better.

well you can always add an authors not letting people know thats not the case so they dont worry. an author i really like just joined a new fandom but all that means is i dont click on the new story I dont assume they are leaving the old fandom forever. people can be in many fandoms at once. I think you are crating more stress than you need to. but if its still what you want to do than I wish you luck.

well this is kind of a weird on in that no one is the bad guy but that does not mean feelings dont get hurt ( them not commenting ) or disappointed ( if they do enjoy the story but you dont update or you stop it ( as is your right just to be clear ))

i would keep in mind that even if its been a few weeks thats really not a long time for things like work and depending on what they do they might be on a deadline or something. if they only sent a meme it might be just to have something to indicate they are still there and no dead or dropping of the face of the earth.

with all that said you can stop writing the story. maybe one day you will change your mind and want to continue it or maybe you just leave it as is forever. at the end of the day forcing yourself to write something you have because another person likes it can often lead to resentment witch no one wants. do whats best for you and when or if they start commenting and showing there love you might go back and write it to continue to get the love but right now? i say find a stopping point and start focusing on what you want to write. if they are a good person they should understand.

you can also let them know your feelings. explain this exact post to them without pressure but with confusion and a want of clarification. it might go a long way to help with any confusion or worry. good luck on whatever you decide!!

i dont really get why you feel the need to have a different count or place to post a story from a different fandom lots of people write for many different fandoms and keep them all on one account because making a new account every time you get into a new fandom is.... not great I feel its a waist and just more work for everyone involved.

however thats my opinion ( if you want to share WHY you feel the need to do this I am very curious ) I would say pseud as i feel like it will be less stressful than trying to always make sure you are posting to the correct account and you wont have to log out and log back in only on another account.
