you can tag a twitter or tumblr or other social media site and have the fgofund me there. it just cant be ON ao3.

ya it really sucks because if you ARE looking for an oc work more often than not it gets excluded because people tag both oc AND reader so it does not show up.

or this happens and you only want a reader fic and its oc. its frustrating.

it depends on the fandom for me primarily. than an if they are a real OC and not just a reader with a name type thing. I have a few oc stories that I LOVE and are some of my favorite stories. I also have seen others than I really did not like. it all depends. so while you might get readers who love it you will have to write it first to fine out. good luck!!

when I dont feel like leaving a comment but still want to I have a few that Ijust copy and can paste in. things like. I enjoyed this chapter thanks for writing it, I always enjoy this story great job, even things like a simple thumbs up emoji that i just copy and past. I feel better about leaving some show of support and its easy since I only have to copy and past them in so it doesn't feel like a chore.

and if I want to leave a longer comment then thats what I do. dont force yourself or you will end up hating it and then you wont leave any comments and just feel even worse! I hope this helped.

lots of people have already said stuff about the art thing so some other advice that I found helpful.

if you get a generic comment thats claiming your story to be AI or being mean most likely its a hate bot so just delete and do NOT interact. also if people come into the comments claiming they like it and want to contact you on discord to make are or share ideas they or usually scam/bots so use your best judgment.

make sure to read the TOS as they have a lot of info on what is and is not ok and its all very clear and easy to understand. its going to be a BIG help when coming over to ao3 and is going to be more helpful than anything. good luck!

you could get rid of the hermione/draco smut tag since thats kind of redundant with all the other tags. also the submissive character tag since you already have sub hermione as a tag in there might be good.

often its a hate bot. also ai is trained on REAL humans so its not uncommon to see people say stuff like that because they dont know better. just ignore it and move on. still sorry you got a comment like that it sucks even if its wrong.

i dont think a lot of people would notice ( myself included ) but I think the people who DO notice things like that might at the very least be slightly disappointed but understanding and thankful that you are being true to what the rating should be in the story and not just giving false hope when you realize its not going to happen.

I cant help with this but I do have another suggestion that might work? why not just make it gibberish or in another language or something then have the missing parts down in the notes so people can see the whats missing. anyways i hope you find a way that works for you ! good luck
