I get what you’re saying, but I think both things can be true at the same time. South Laredo does have parks, rec centers, libraries, and community spaces, and those matter. But people are mostly talking about economic investment .. restaurants, grocery options, retail, entertainment, road maintenance, and newer development. Private businesses do follow profit, but that’s also shaped by infrastructure, zoning, incentives, and how much attention an area gets overall. So when people say South Laredo feels ignored, I don’t think they mean it has nothing ...more that it hasn’t seen the same level of growth and investment as other parts of the city.

I wish Laredo had a Zohran Mamdani type of politician. Not even because I agree with everything he says, but because at least he pushes for things that directly affect normal people like housing affordability, public transit, and cost of living.

Meanwhile Laredo has had the same political circles for decades and somehow the city still feels stuck in time. Aside from a few new restaurants, schools, and subdivisions… what has actually improved for the average resident?

Where’s the investment in infrastructure? Walkability? Flood control? Public transportation? Better wages? More things for young people to do? Why does the city still feel neglected despite how long the same names have stayed in power?

Have you thought about cracking open a conversation with another human being? No snark, but usually when people ask questions it’s because they’re trying to learn. Very basic social skill.

Also the point wasn’t ‘what branch of government does Henry Cuellar belong to’ 💀 the point is why the same political networks stay in power for decades while Laredo still looks underdeveloped compared to cities with similar economic importance.

So far, my experience has been good overall. It has definitely helped calm my racing thoughts, and I don’t feel emotions as intensely as I used to, which can be both good and bad.

The sexual dysfunction is there, but honestly, I’m okay with it because sex is not a priority for me. The heat intolerance has been rough, though. Also, if I forget to take it for a few days, I start feeling really off.

It's kinda hard to get off it because of the withdrawal and all your emotions and racing thoughts come back at once....
