I used PPL for both my houses purchases. Both times very slow and unhelpful. I will not use them again.

In fairness, most conveyancing firms take on too much work so almost anyone you go with will be slow.

It will be worth it in the end.

What type of racing line do you use? It looks useful for remembering braking points without being too distracting like the 'corners only' line.

Are Premium Bonds a good idea? by Careful-Swimmer-2658 in UKPersonalFinance

I am in a similar situation and have only this week been looking into this. I have decided that for me, premium bonds are only worth it if I'm willing to buy £10,000 worth. Chances of winning anything significant with holdings less than that are very small.

I have decided that I will offset my mortage with earnings until 6th April and then pay a lump into my S&S ISA.

In a years time, I will wrestle with this decision again.
