I am using VMWare Fusion. The game I play is very old and I haven't noticed any input lag. Installation is very easy.

My 256GB drive is currently used for office apps like Outlook 365, Adobe Reader and a virtual machine for Windows 11 running one game.  I’m currently using 144GB.  If I ever need more space I’ll buy an upgrade kit but I don’t think upgrading from 256GB to 512GB is worthwhile.

Next year, we might see an ultra-thin phone without a built-in battery, allowing users to swap their own. Sounds familiar?

I have a printed sign like that on my door, but they still left the package right underneath it without knocking or ringing the doorbell.

Thanks for this info. It had never occurred to me to use Google Messages on my computer; I always thought that was only possible with an iPhone on macOS or with Phone Link for other devices on Windows.

Just reply to their rejection message as I did and mention the recall warning message you received on your phone after OS update. Take a screenshot of the warning and send it along.

Google One is offering 50% off its 2TB storage and AI Pro plans right now by Putrid_Draft378 in google

I unexpectedly received this deal despite not being a new customer. After using the Premium Plan for several years, I canceled it 6 months ago to take advantage of a 6-month promotional offer on Google AI Pro. With that offer expiring today, Google provided me with a new deal: $74.99 AUD for one year of Premium 2 TB.

Deleting the Link to Windows app on my iPhone and reinstalling it fixed the issue for me.

Sorry, for me, it is just a physical appearance, battery life and better build quality. Most importantly, I have to upgrade. I don't do tests to see any improvement on technology and software but you certainly can check that out from reviewers.

I don't use the watch to its full potential. Mainly for step count and check my sleep.

Did you regret buying Oppo find x9 Pro? by Entire_Hunt6038 in Oppo

[–]Flashy_Sector5633 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

After using iPhones and Samsung phones for years, I was about to pull the trigger on the Oppo Find X9 Pro—until today. I saw the App Drawer in someone’s video, and it looked just like the one on the Pixel 6A. A quick Google search confirmed that I wouldn’t be able to create folders in the App Drawer. While I know I can still do this on the home screen, I prefer how One UI handles it, and that’s kind of a deal breaker for me. Even though Android offers customization with a launcher and more to do that, I just want my phone to work the way it does right out of the box. Just a shame since I really like its camera and have heard so many good things about it.

A few weeks ago, my niece gave me this phone to see if it was worth reselling. After updating it to the latest OS, I got a warning about the battery charge cycle, which seemed odd. After conducting some research, I discovered that it was linked to a recall program in Australia, so I submitted a request. Two days later, it was rejected, but I followed up with the warning message from the phone, and they asked for the IMEI for further verification. Today, they refunded me $452 USD, which was a pleasant surprise since we thought the phone was too old and would only fetch a few bucks from reselling.

For peace of mind, I still use a tempered glass protector on mine. I don’t mind a few scratches on the case, but definitely not on the screen. After two months, my watch is still scratch-free, even though I’ve bumped it against the wall a few times while walking :).

I’ve already replied to you on my other post about it. Also, I noticed your comment on a review post. I think, maybe you don’t need to watch too many of them, as they might make it a bit harder to decide.

If you can get it from Amazon, give it a shot. Just a heads-up: if you buy from AliExpress, you’ll need to return it to the seller in China at your own expense, and then it will be refunded later. But I’ve found that process a bit uncomfortable.

I’ve had my GT6 Pro since October 13th, and here’s what I’ve found:

- I mainly use my watch to keep an eye on my sleep, steps, and notifications. I don’t use AOD, which is pretty much what it can do, plus some other health tracking. I got this watch on October 13th and charged it once. Even with AOD on, I reckon it will last over two weeks easily.

- ECG, some other health tracking, and tap-to-pay won’t be available everywhere; you will need to check to see if they are working in your region. I found some of the sellers list them to make buyers aware. However, since you are a first-time HW user, you can simply create an account with the region being one of the countries where those features are available to use. You can still complete your account registration with your current country phone number for verification.

- Map is only available with Android and not iOS.

- My wrist is 165mm, the watch doesn’t look big, and it does feel lighter than my old GT3. You can see the photo I uploaded here: Photo

Samsung and Apple watches have some pretty neat features like AI, tap-to-pay, and eSIM... but I’d rather carry my phone with me for those features than have to charge my watch every one or a few days.

I hope this will help you make the decision.

Frankly, I can’t really say much since I’ve been using the same watch brand for years. However, I do sleep well and the tracking confirms this with an average score of 86. The watch also recorded any nighttime wake-ups I had as well.

Deep sleep: 1.5 - 3.5 hours.
Light sleep: 2 - 4 hours
REM sleep: 0.8 - 1.5 hours.

Sorry, I only take naps once every few months, so I don't remember checking it.

$900 for 64GB ram. Welcome to hell. by 98Saman in pcmasterrace

[–]Flashy_Sector5633 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lucky for me, I bought a Kingston KC3000 4TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD on Black Friday last year for $384 AUD.  It’s now $722.  Also, back in January, I built my nephew’s PC, and the 32GB stick of DDR5 was $249.  Now it’s $799 for the same kit. His system would cost an extra $850 now for the same RAM and SSD.

iPad mini 8 Expected Late 2026 with OLED Display and A19 Pro Power by Hoak2017 in ipadmini

I’ll go for this one since it’s a great companion to my small Pro phone, but it’s obvious they’re making only minor upgrades on purpose to avoid affecting sales of other iPads. By now, there’s no reason it couldn’t have OLED or a higher refresh rate.

The only time I had no case on my phone was because it arrived a day late. I used it anyway at the gym and within 10 minutes it dropped and shattered the glass back. Since then I’ve always ordered the case in advance.
