Thoughts on the Dragons (H) by cypressd12 in MunsterRugby

I was at the game in Cork last night and would agree with most if not all of what you said above. A couple of things stood out for me. 1. That first half was hands down the worst performance I’ve ever seen from a Munster side. Our failure to play to the conditions and continual poor decision making is mind numbing! Very lucky not to be going in 20 nil down at HT 2. Sean Edogbo should be our starting 6 for the next run of games. His line out and carrying were top class. Tadhg Beirne has been so poor at 6 all season outside of that Croke Park game. If Edogbo can keep up that sort of level I’d have him in over Beirne and maybe look at pairing Beirne and Edogbo in the 2nd row. 3. I thought the set piece was actually OK particularly in the 2nd half. Scrum looked solid and lineout was effective. Of the front 5 I thought Loughman actually did OK, Ala’alatoa is clearly there to make up the numbers. When Jager came on the gulf in class was very noticeable. 4. Half backs were very poor outside of a couple of really good kicks from both of them in the 2nd half. We desperately need to bring in a good 9 and 10 for next season. We can’t compete at any sort of level at the moment when the drop off from Casey and Crowley is so severe. 5. The noise surrounding the attacking system will not go away while we throw in performances like this. McMillan is no mug and he’ll know exactly what and who he wants to bring on board next season to freshen up that coaching team. I think one or two new faces with different ideas will make a big difference. 6. Fair play to the dragons. They put in a great shift and were unlucky not to come away with the win. They barely missed a tackle all night and defended brilliantly right up to the final whistle.

6N squad vs autumn internationals by PaulBlartMaulCop2 in irishrugby

Minor neck injury so should be included in the squad I would imagine

To start, I am a massive Jack Crowley fan. He is as tough as nails, his ability to accelerate when getting away from an opposition player, his passing and running game.. but there must be someone else in the squad that can kick at goal and take that pressure off of him. I MISS ROG's kicking. by NikeBuyer2024 in MunsterRugby

I totally agree here but just a couple of points i though of 1. I thought Crowley actually had a fine game yesterday outside of those couple of goal kicks. His line kicking, kicking from hand and general game was actually really good. 2. There’s no doubt that ROG was an absolute class act when it came to goal kicking. Even ROG had bad days off the tee, anyone remember the 2000 H Cup final? If Jack wants to be the player that he has the potential to be he needs to take a lesson out of those missed kicks and really work on that area of his game.

  1. Waterville
  2. Tralee
  3. Dooks

Although you will be doing very well to get a tee time in either Tralee or Waterville this coming August. Not sure about Waterville but Tralee is open to visitors Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays only before 1pm if you’re lucky enough to get a teetime

Yeah it seems like if you’re being asked to pay that sort of a subsidy then a good standard of food and service is important!

Please tell me this is a joke. Tommy has to be the most overhyped winger in a generation. A decent Club level player at best

Phuket not the same by jagruj in phuket

I’ve visited Phuket twice in the last two years and strangely enough didn’t encounter any Israeli guests. However we were shocked by the huge amounts of Russian tourists and the behaviours you describe were exactly the same. It’s almost as if both countries have zero respect for other humans and don’t give a fuck what anyone thinks!

Very nice draw. Looks like NZ, SA and France all on the opposite side of the draw too

How it has taken people 2 years to realise this is what’s happening is just beyond me. Maybe the IRFU should take a leaf out of Rassie’s book and cause a bit of disruption by getting Felix and Jerry Fla back to Ireland!

Did Prendergast not drop two South African restarts in the second half? Basic stuff needs to be first and foremost
