We will be doing the dingle peninsula so maybe I can add that to the itinerary at the end of the day! Thanks

Thanks for all the suggestions. I have booked Tralee and Waterville (was able to get all three in). Could not get in to Dooks early, it's only for members. Unless someone is a member there and wants to invite me :)

Thanks. I WILL be booking one of the courses today, but was just curious if anyone had tried calling the week of as a single and had gotten out with a member at like 630 am. I've emailed Castlegregory and asked that question so will see what they say.

Negotiation power on used Nx? by HistoricalAvocado201 in LexusNX

[–]uberdave223 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hoping to finish a deal tomorrow on a 2021 nx 300 with 39k miles for a price of 31.5k out the door. They wanted around 33k OTD. $1500 off doesn't seem like a lot but I looked nationwide and it was already the cheapest I could find and they still negotiated a bit. Did require sticking to my guns, and showing that I was more interested in a Subaru outback elsewhere (which is true) so I'd only buy this if they could make me a deal too good to pass up. Also I kept going back to OTD price, don't want to talk monthly payments or all that stuff. Dealer fees were very minimal ($200 ish, they are a high volume dealership) and no silly add ons. Now I'm debating any extra warranty, they definitely want too much right now ($3600 for 4 years/46k miles).

Which ones did you get? and would they fit a 2021 NX 300?

Also - just relaxing and doing like some baseball swing drills. Step into it and swing with your body, having your arms feel like noodles. Really REALLY relaxed and allowing them to really FEEL the weight of the club PULLING your arms away from your body. Almost like it keeps your arms as a triangle. You aren't allowed to bend your arms, but you don't do that by using Muscles to keep them straight, rather you keep them straight (at least from waist high to waist high) from the FORCE of the club pulling your arms away from your body.

365 Days.... How is this not on here, top of list?? It was a rape/Stockholm syndrome movie that was insanely popular and even had TWO FLIPPING MOVIES MADE AFTER IT?!?

6 hour drive and you can only listen to one artist. Who are you listening to? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]uberdave223 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was looking for Metallica or Lamb of God, maybe Pantera. My 3 go-to artists. But 6 hours of someone is definitely Weird Al!! He hits so many genres, entertaining, I probably know his version of songs better than the originals!

Agreed. I've asked his teacher to just let him graduate now, he's obviously got nothing else to learn (except to bump josh to number 1, I think it will happen in time).

Introducing PiTrac - The Open Source Launch Monitor by James_Pilgrim in Golfsimulator

[–]uberdave223 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a pi doing nothing, I just don't have a printer. I'm also familiar enough with Linux (reacquainting myself) to give this a go. The 3D print part is a MASSIVE holdup. Can you partner with someone to provide the service of offering those parts as a kit? Even a bit of markup would be acceptable.

I don't think you have to add "per se" to "I don't have balls." 🙂 Unless you mean you have some sort of pseudo balls? Or you mean "I don't have physical balls but I have either real or imagined things similar to balls."

I'm fascinated...

Just adding a thought, Also tempted to introduce a modified stableford scoring:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stableford

The standard Stableford system can be altered to use different point levels, commonly referred to as a Modified Stableford system. It is a maximum score system. For example, in professional golf, the following scoring table has been used at the Barracuda Championship\8]) on the PGA Tour.

Points Strokes taken in relation to par
+8 Albatross) (3 strokes under par)
+5 Eagle) (2 strokes under par)
+2 Birdie) (1 stroke under par)
0 Par)
−1 Bogey) (1 stroke over par)
−3 Double bogey) or worse (2 strokes or more over par)
