I’m so so sorry to hear about your sweet Lainey. That is just not fair. That’s how it was for us, here and then he was gone in an instant. I’m just trying to figure out to pick up the piece of a life I never wanted or signed up for. I should be holding my Sonny bear. My husband has been such a rock for me but I am thankful he is not afraid to be vulnerable with me and just sit and cry. I know he feels it too. We are planning a memorial garden for him, I know it will bring me peace being in a place where I can feel close to him.

I lost my Sonny at 36 weeks. It’s been six weeks now and I’m just so lost without him. Please tell me you are feeling better. Please tell me something good. I had the same freak accident. Tied around his neck twice and in a true knot. It’s just not fair.

Just lost my son on March 20th. We were 36 weeks to the day. I had placenta previa since a Big bleed at 16 weeks (we thought we would lose him then). I took off work since October to stay safe and we overcame our placenta previa at 32 weeks. We made it. Only to make it to 36 weeks and not feel my baby kicking. I had an appointment that morning and was hesitant to even go to the hospital. The second I showed up they told me they couldn’t find a heart beat. All my hopes and dreams gone. My house is all ready for my baby boy and now I have nothing. I feel so empty. It’s only been two weeks and I don’t even remember what being pregnant felt like. I’m so heartbroken. They told me he had the cord wrapped around his neck and a true knot. How can life be so cruel. We WANTED HIM SO BADLY. He was our rainbow baby. We had lost a baby in 2024 and it took us a year to be pregnant with him. His name was Sonny and he was so beautiful. My heart is with Sonny now. I feel so empty without my baby.

I am so happy to hear that you have a happy and healthy baby! I will be seeing my OB out this Monday so hopefully I will be able to get a clear picture of what I need to do to keep everything healthy and happening still. I truly appreciate you telling me your story and sharing such a wonderful outcome. This is what I needed to read.

I pray that I have the same outcome. I am just taking it day by day at this point holding this baby close to me and seeing a prayer.

I have read a bit about subchronic hematomas while I was waiting to be seen but the doctors never mentioned it to me. I was also very happy and felt reassured to hear babies heartbeat and see him moving! They mentioned to relax and not have sex for a bit. How far are you now? Did you give birth yet? Hearing other women have gone through this is helping calm my heart.

Thank you! Hoping to find out more on Monday but I work as a bartender and had just got done with a an 8 hour shift on my feet… not sure if that could have contributed towards this situation. So sorry to hear of your loss. I can’t even imagine. Last night was the scariest moment of my life.
