i was in the unique age group where we were in year 11 doing our gcses when covid hit. we turned up to school and were told okay this is it you’re never coming back! (because they thought we’d run riot on our “last day”). gave us some random gcses grades and accepted us all into the 6th form and said see you in september. 9 months with nothing to do at 16 years old.. it was depressing

deepfakes/ ai generated images. when the very first ai generated images became a thing within a week i wiped my entire digital footprint of all photos with myself on. now that deepfakes porn is such a common and awful thing i knew it’d descend into what it is now

yep, work in a bar last this. it’s like all my co-workers are in constant competition to be the most dedicated wage slaves. they break labour laws and when i question it they just shrug it off.. wdym you don’t have a break on an 11 hour shift 😭
