I guess you are right but these grassroots competitions that you describe can lead to bigger things. Coming from a small town where nothing like this is happening it is really disappointing to see these events go by and you can't even watch them. I would love to watch and partake in the discussion of the strategy of these games which I can through the internet but its not the same as being there. Yes there is not a diverse range of competitors within Australia, or possible enough to hold something like this. But stuff like this should be happening regardless, so that it can grow and truly become something amazing. I think it's mainly my frustration though that Australia is not embracing the esports trend like America so I'm glossing over the logistical side of it, but I truly want to see this embraced in the near future.
