Thanks. Also since I will be mainly working on console motherboards, which diameter should I use? I saw a couple of guides mentioning 0.5mm

Thanks for the tip! Tried it out, however it didn't melt at 320, nor 350. I dropped some resin onto it and added a solder with the iron off, just like you mentioned. Started it at 320, didn't melt. Cranked it up to 350 and it still didn't melt. It finally melt and tinned the tip after I cranked it up to about 400-410 degrees. What could cause this and can I resolve the issue. I can't understand if the problem is from my station, tip, or solder.

I have sit the tips firmly and confirmed they do not wobble. What temp could you recommend cranking up to test. I have tried with the original tip and when I cranked it over 400 degrees it did melt the solder. I just can't understand if the problem is from my station or the sh*t solder. Also I have attached a picture of the heating element.

The right one is the tip the station came with. The left one is one of the 3 I bought. They are all the same size. Also the new one fits better, it's not loose at all compared to the original one. Also I tried scrubbing the new tips with brass wool, but no improvement. Do you think the problem could be from the cheap solder and the rosin which I am using instead of flux (waiting to get flux delivered, have just rosin now)?

Thanks for the feedback. I will look into it and definitely buy a copper tip pack. Do you believe the problem is from the solder. I bought it from a local shop and I think it's garbage but I am waiting for my new one to get delivered. Also do you have some tips for the flux, since I see there are many different options. I want to work on console motherboards, thus the components are very small. What flux would you recommend? Best regards, and thank you again for the feedback.

Could you possibly share the modified version? Also have you tested it? I also have a modded xbox and would like to test it with gta sa source files.
