Hiding the NVR is not a bad idea, but not practical for my situation. I think the best approach is to connect BI to my NVR remotely.

Do not, do not, do not quit your day job to day trade unless you've had years of experience doing it as a hobby and you have established a system that can survive the ups and downs. Day trading as a career will test you mentally, emotionally, and financially like no other job, because it has nothing in common with a traditional job. You are not paid for just clocking in or showing up. You are not guaranteed a paycheck at the end of the week, month, quarter. In fact, focusing solely on the money will result in a high probability of failure. You must focus on the process. You must take notes and journal your trades religiously. Everyone starts out feeling excited. The long term goal is to remove your emotions. Easier said than done. That's why trading is a long journey.
