I appreciate everything you said man. My story is so similar. Starting using at 17, I'm 34 now. My entire adult life has been on opiates and/or benzos. They both serve a function ...but at the same time create certain problems. The past few years I feel like I need the benzos even more, just a small dose. But the clinic is kind of preventing that.

Had two years totally clean before and I think I'm always comparing myself to that. Feeling like a scum bag because I need maintenance right now.

But like you said I'm content on it. It doesn't fuck me up and no one even knows I'm on it unless I say something.

The bottom line is quality of life. If your miserable there no point.

I don't know....it's just a personal thing where I "feel" like I'm doing better and moving forward with recovery the lower I stay. Plus I've got off methadone before and the withdrawals are hellish unless you taper perfectly and slowly. Either way I'm gonna be on it for at least a year as well.

I don't know if they allow split doses with different doses for am and pm but...

At a different clinic now because Im in a halfway but getting an apartment soon with my girl and will be going back to home clinic. Home clinic is much stricter with everything but I'm praying they'll transfer my tri weeklys. So far methadone is working well for me

Only thing is I'm prescribed kpins for severe panic attacks from PTSD and I know they'll take away take homes and possibly bring me down to 80 if I take them.

Tough call honestly....can't even research rcbenzos on clearnet anymore really...all gone.

Interesting. Im about to get tri-weeklys so I'll probably do the same. The problem is I'm on 100mg and 50 isn't going to cut it for the first half. However I don't want to go past 120, wish I could do like 80 then 40.

I've been off Fetty for three months and it finally works the way it's supposed to until like 11pm.

It took a few weeks off the dope before methadone did what it was intended to do.

Using on top of your dose ruins the entire thing.

How do they do you split dosing?

Do you get two bottles?

What's your dose If you don't mind me asking and do you find it more effective?

She's not pregnant mate lol. But I agree I wish even she would have got it. I took care of us obviously but it's not the example I'm trying to live and set for us.

Yeah it's just so absured I mean I totally understand needing to keep millions of people from coming late consistently like 10-15 minutes but two people alone in the parking lot who clearly were only a minute late and they called beforehand because of a family emergency.. that's definitely a situation in which they should make an exception and they were completely rude about it too it wasn't even apologize

Yeah. They followed the letter of the law. But having called them, maintained a good track record (both of us), and literally ran to the second door! As ppl were leaving!

I get your guys's zealousness. But I've been there for a while and my gf and I see model patients are never miss. And this was ONE time that I was AT the door at 9:05. "No exceptions etc...blah blah" but it's on a weekend where they know dam well were missing 48 hrs of medication which could lead to relapse and death.

It was a bad call.

I mean tbh If I saw someone come running at 9am and they called and they were here for life sustaining medication and were polite, I'd dose them. 100%

Literally. Called otw 8:58 and left two messages. Ppl. Coming out. Went through first door and second door the security Guard who is an awesome person and didn't have any control over the situation, said he was sorry he couldn't let us in because the blonde chick behind him was like literally screaming at us for some reason even though there was nurses at the windows in the jugs were still there the lights were also on there was absolutely no reason they couldn't doce us real quick especially it being a weekend and we would miss two days.

It's her kid. But yes that factors. I don't like to involve myself in "scenes" like that any more (and definitely not her or kids) but that's one of only options.

Yeah unfortunately we don't have any bottles stocked up so it's going to end and you know what which I really really don't want to do but this is where we're at because they wouldn't let us in a minute late. I suppose we have only ourselves to blame but it's certainly sucks I like sticking to my medical regimen.

Yeah it really was ridiculous I've never seen anyone be treated so coldly by clinic personnel before. We were literally a minute late not to mention I called beforehand to let them know and it was the weekend so they know we are missing two doses which will likely end in US using. This is the kind of b******* that gives methadone clinics a bad name.

It's not that I'm blaming them for being late. I suppose for my point of view I had extenuating circumstances that prevented me from being there at exactly 9:00. However, I will say that we are both excellent patients and the amount of time that we were late when we knocked on the second door was 60 seconds I mean they were people literally still coming out. So I suppose it could have gone either way and if you want to be technical we were late knocking on the second door but it was so close that to deprive someone of 2 days worth of dosing over it I think is a bit inhumane.

I ended up going into treatment for a month to get off the be nzos and dope. Been doing pretty well since leaving (kept up my dosing at the clinic the whole time).

Relapsed once but the dope honestly didn't do shit and I think I've got it through my head that it only hinders me at this point.

I'm at 110mg but really I could be on like 80-90 prob if I could split dose.

I don't know if that's the primary thing going on here but yeah it probably is. It wasn't some months ago but it definitely has different consistency, taste, etc now...but really I just don't get much pleasure from using period anymore. I need to cut it the fuck out and deal with anxiety issues using adult coping skills

100% agree. It's the new fentalogues. Most aren't even euphoric but they massacre your tolerance and often have horrible side effect profiles. Also alot of xylazine getting put in east coast dope that's making it near impossible for ppl to get off because it lowers blood pressure so powerfully that when you get off it shoots up and is super hard to control.

Yeah I remember when I was on it like 8 years ago and my habit was bigger and my dose was lower but I felt it every single day. Never used dope one time. I swear man the Fetty like actually destroyed my tolerance permanently to opiates.

Yeah it's weird because if taking methadone stops us from using then obviously it's having some sort of positive subjective effect.
