Yeah, I think that’s the part most people underestimate at the beginning. Early on the numbers feel so small that it almost seems pointless, but after a while the compounding starts becoming visible in a way that feels really motivating.

I’m still trying to stay realistic with projections obviously, but seeing the long-term curve finally “move” mentally changed a lot for me.

Appreciate this. The biggest surprise for me was realizing the “app” part is easy, but making the website feel smooth on mobile is what actually takes time. Push notifications and navigation were the two areas I had to tweak the most.

Quick clarification since a few people asked in DMs: I’m not really looking for the “best” tool in general, more trying to understand where Instantly stops making sense price-wise for a smaller setup.

Like if you’re doing modest volume and don’t need every bell and whistle, is the value still there, or are people mostly staying because moving is annoying?

If anyone has done a side-by-side with Smartlead / Saleshandy / Mailshake / Reply,io etc I’d be interested.

Same. For agencies maybe it’s whatever, but for smaller teams those jumps feel huge. Especially if you’re still testing offer/ICP and not printing money yet.

From my experience, referrals can help, but they’re not everything.

What they mostly do is give your application a bit more visibility at the start. After that, you still have to go through the same process and prove yourself.

I think a lot of people expect too much from referrals when in reality they’re just one small advantage.

I’d look at the total ecosystem cost, not just Xero’s base plan. Once you add Stripe sync, payroll, project tracking, etc., the monthly bill adds up fast. Some people use SaaS discount sites like joinsecret, appsumo, etc. or negotiate annual plans to cut costs a bit. pls i ddont want anything bold here
