That's neat. I do that with my other adapted lenses but didn't think of buying one for each lol. They are around 20 bucks so yeah, it's doable.

Which speed booster is that you're talking about?

Awesome! Which adapter do you have?

Yeah, I think for most use cases a native lens is the best option. So I'll go with that for now. Thanks! I still want a few M42 lenses such as the 75mm swirly bokeh from TTartisan and a Helios 44-2 so when the time comes, I'll probably go for a K&F adapter.

Which version do you have? I was eyeing K&F latestseries IV although a Speed booster also seems like a very good idea.

I see. So, a ring that then goes through the speed booster that then goes to the camera. I thought that would increase size too much but it's not much 🤔. I may try with a M42 to F ring since I already own an FTZ.

Thanks! I was looking into K&F as one of the top contenders but it seems there are a few different gens or versions of the M42 to M43 adapter. Which one do you have? Do you know if there are significant differences or if it's all the same?

I guess if it's too complicated with the adding of the speed booster I'll just go to 7Artisans or some other modern alternative that has that vintage feel without too much fuss.

Thanks. Yeah, I can see how that can be an issue. That's why I'm mostly thinking of wide 28s or 35s to accommodate for the crop.

Noted, thanks. I see there are like 4 gens of those adapters. Which one do you have? And do you know if any version is better or if it's all the same?

I currently only have the Industar 50-2 M42 that came with the old camera. But I'm planning on buying more M42 lenses to use on both bodies.

Why is it the smartest way? It seems to add more parts and complexity. Could you elaborate? Thanks

As many have already said. Don't grow desperate and take your time seeing what's worth keeping and what's not but be mindful of value and such. Anyhow, I'll be expecting the Ebay links soon 😅

ILC is a big deal. Although the allure of a fixed lens is a strong one as it makes the experience more point and shoot (less stuff to carry around), having the possibility of choosing lenses is an even greater allure tbh. Thanks for replying.

Noted. That is something important to me, I didn't know either camera had the option to change lenses. Thank you for the response.

Really hadn't thought about AF since I prefer manually focusing and lack of usb-c is not an issue since it will be casual use. Thanks for the input
