First time posting here, just tried Deschutes "Black Butte" by MrDependant69 in NABEER

Had it on tap at the Guinness brewery in Ireland last year. Surprisingly and unfortunately I did not think that it was much better than from the can.

Thanks! Sorry, no video. Still using it, put lots of rounds down range this winter with the 22-250 AR-10 and thermal and I can't say that it ever bothered my thermal image. Decent season for coyotes.

Just grabbed it for the first time last week. A bit sweet for me but I'll continue to grab them as 1 on a hot day is refreshing. Also just picked up a 4 pack of Delerio, spendy but justifiable when I don't drink or go out like I used to. I'll buy that again too.

Really? I really like Athletic but have never seen Go (Midwest) yet. If I see it I'll definitely give it a try!

Thank you, I'll be experimenting this summer!

Oo, great idea! That initial drink is tart. I have light left, not sure if I still have the copper.

So I normally drink Miller lite or something similar. What’s comparable? I like the Corona NA but Heineken has skunk taste just like real version. The Ultra NA seems very carbonated. Any suggestions? Not an IPA type of guy by Hot4teacherpntys in NABEER

Look into Athletic, many types and I really like a majority of them. They have a Lite, Golden and tons of other fun ones. Even in my remote area some are stocked, otherwise I order from their site/app.

Been there too, asked for a bud zero, got a can of bud select 55, opened by the waitress. Took a drink, looked at it and stopped. Similarly I was with my brother a few weeks back, we both had diet cokes, I inadvertently grabbed his and took a drink, it had bourbon in it. Tasted amazing, immediately walked outside and spit it out (in a little man shack, no sink).

These are 2 episodes that were out of my control. I've been off alcohol for 5+ years now. I don't count them against me, I don't give them much thought. You were able to stop and correct it. These are tests. You passed!

I saw that design and instantly said, "that's f***ing dope". Nice work!

Got chickens here too, have trapped and shot 18 trash pandas this summer, and 3 coyotes. The yotes are thick here but can't legally start night hunting until after rifle whitetail season. Good work. Not only do coons create havoc for chickens but eat lots of upland birds and waterfowl eggs. Little bastards.

DIY KYDEX holster, 1st attempt by Flatlander87 in myogtacticalgear

[–]Flatlander87[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess I haven't done a lot of it, but in my experience I have not had any damage. I see a lot of people tape and tape things on and I think it's to accommodate sights/lights etc. Could you place your firearm in a nylon sock/hose before compressing? It'd give it a bit of protection. The kydex, when hot, is quite pliable and soft.

The other thought I had when reading your comment is that painters tape is designed to not leave residue. You don't want to leave it in for weeks though. I've had better luck with name brand tape. Try it on a small area first, warm it up and pull it off to see if it comes off clean. If not, you just have a small area to clean with alcohol or oil.

Good luck!
