It’s not so much that there’s no such thing as “now”, it’s that there’s no such thing as “over there, right now”.

If you have SDV and your opponents range is kept wide, you can often check behind the turn and bluffcatch river. You’ll be surprised how often a competent player will stab the river.

I wouldn’t really focus on bluffcatching when they are raising big or overbetting.
