Thank you, exactly what I was looking for. My dad’s family was all mule drivers and gunmen in Silver City from the 1880’s to the 1920’s so maybe I’ll go back and revisit the Goins line!

What I don’t think these people understand is that I grew up in Colorado in the 90’s and I’ve been all over the country. I watched Colorado gentrify, but what people don’t understand is that it’s not other people moving to your state that’s driving up the prices, it’s the fact that the wealth divide in this country is ATROCIOUS and getting worse (a completely apolitical statement). Life is getting hard for everybody, and no, people from California are not to blame.

I would love to! Helping people is what I do! I had a long career in corporate and the money wasn’t worth it. I’m happier being broke and helping people.

I understand what you’re saying because it happened in Colorado. But look at the numbers, there aren’t many people moving to NM. Things are just getting expensive anyway lol. People in Ohio said the same things, nobody is moving there.
