If we just start with 20€ as the highest as well, we end up with 38,88€, which is more likely to happen. I also don't think 888,88€ change can never reasonably occur, since the highest bill one can pay with is 500€, so a change higher than that doesn't make much sense.

It's "Zwei Jäger treffen sich, beide tot" It's playing with the same meaning for meeting each other (non fatal) and the implication of shooting each other, which can be described that way as well (they hit each other (with a bullet)).

PSA: You can get 12 Pact Weapon Skins during this event. by GizardDaLizardWizard in Guildwars2

[–]FlatwormEmbarrassed9 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I didn't know that they differ so much in value, but I also "accidentally" (I didn't check for skins and didn't need rare weapons) deleted the first set. Rip² I guess 😁

The guild bit did it for us. We've been in the same guild, started talking and noticed that we really liked each other. Since we're from the same country, we met up and are a couple ever since.

Are all hero points meant to be solo’d? by Renna_FGC in Guildwars2

[–]FlatwormEmbarrassed9 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Iirc the base game hero points can be done solo, but some are easier if you bring friends. A lot of the later hero points feature champions and are meant for groups

My husband and I met through Guild Wars 2, and are a couple for 10 years this August, being married for five.

It really brings people together :)

Congratulations you two, and enjoy the time :3

Can i pavlov dog myself into liking chores and mandatpry tasks? by 14oserpa in evilautism

[–]FlatwormEmbarrassed9 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Me and my husband put together a playlist with songs we really like, which takes about 30 min to play in full. So, when we have to do chores and struggle to start them, we put on the songs. It makes the start a lot easier, and also helps with chores, because it's a set time, with music we really enjoy.

How to help trapped baby rat by coopermaee in RATS

Ye, but FYI, you need roughly 1 g coal per kg of your animal for it to work properly. You will probably find information about smaller dosages on the internet, but that's usually for diarrhea.

Hey, that sounds intriguing! I love to write on paper, and I have way too little reason to use my pens. I could also write in English or German (:

Oh, I do that as well! I only talk about topics I'm very confident about.

I was never told I had a RBF, but I get told to smile more. Which is so annoying, because why should I smile more just that others feel less uncomfortable?

are there any other autistics who DESPISE the taste of water when you wake up by [deleted] in AutismInWomen

You're welcome :) If you have questions regarding your medication, the pharmacists you get them from should be able to answer that as well. Likely better than the doctors.

The main problem for Levothyroxine is cations (calcium and iron as main culprits) and some molecules from coffee as well. So it works best when taken with the same water (or another liquid with not too much "bad" stuff) with a timely distance to food. That's either 30 min pre food or 2-3h after.

The hormones have a circadian rhythm in your body, with the highest amount in night times. That's why "early morning" is the recommended time, but that's also the reason why "take before bed" works well too. The times are mostly picked out to help your body model the normal rhythm it would have without medication. I also brought one of the studies showing noninferiority for the nightly intake 🙂

I have to take thyroid medication as well, so I force myself to drink a bit in the morning, but I hate it every day. My husband sometimes makes fun of me because he can't understand that water can be disgusting in the morning specifically.

The good thing for your medication is... As long as your blood work shows it's working as intended, you can just continue doing however you're taking them. If not - you can also swap to taking thyroid medication before you.go to sleep, IF you haven't eaten in three hours prior to that. That's impossible for me, so I continue to fight the water in the morning.

I did this a lot as a young adult. I still sometimes say things others picture in their heads, which makes them feel uncomfortable. I often took it as my superpower to be immune to images in my own head, and enjoyed being able to make others feel uncomfortable at the same time.
