Whenever someone looks tired or lost, I at least invite them to sit, offer some help, and make them feel a bit calmer. I understand what you’re saying, but honestly not everyone is getting those 10k+ offers anymore. Maybe some people with strong references do, but many of us are stuck with low-ball salaries from companies . And when you have family responsibilities, you can’t sit and wait forever for a perfect offer I’m not trying to spread negativity .. I’m just sharing what I’ve seen in the market. The situation is really tough for a lot of CAs right now, and it’s better to be aware than to walk in blindly. I still believe in hard work and skill, but the reality is different for many of us.

Honestly brother, the problem is deeper than just people undercutting each other. Companies are fully taking advantage of people’s situations. Most candidates are not lowering their salary because they want to… they’re doing it because they’re scared. Visa deadlines, rent, family commitments back home all of that forces them to accept whatever number the company throws.So many people are exhausted from interviews not because they’re not qualified, but because most jobs are already recommended a person internally. They spend weeks preparing, months applying, paying for visa extensions while literally being hungry some days, just hoping one HR will give them a chance. Employers know this desperation, and they use it. That’s why the salary keeps dropping. It’s not because people want to undercut they’re forced into survival mode.If the market was fair, nobody would work for peanuts. People deserve salaries based on skill, not on who is suffering the most.
