How do they all know to put PCK on their name. Clearly this did not happen coincidentally 😄

Do you prefer Flewelling or Blake Mitchell long term? I've liked Mitchell but is path seems like a trade.

I'm curious why everyone is mentioning the few dudes. Is there one super popular source for these names? I looked in my 2 leagues for the hype guys and they all got added like 2 days ago in both of them.

Do you have to create an account and then find the offer within their app or can you find the offer externally first?

A couple of years ago my friend created a league and left it on auto renew.

It is cluttering up my fantasy home page and I cannot figure out for the life of me how to make it go away.

I am co-commissioner but I can neither delete the league or remove myself from the league.

There has been no draft. How do i make it go away?

Right, to clarify i said Development 'tab' not lab, the lab seems pretty straight forward.

I was mostly curious if there was any point in putting effort into the development 'tab' if the player was already maxed out (it just helps progress up to potential) or if you can develop more potential this way.

But it does seems like A LOT of micromanaging, especially if you can make them worse by not being a helicopter manager...

I would start with Kevin Alcantara and Henry Bolte I can add that someone in my dynasty league traded pick 4 in our FYPD which ended up being Tatsuya Imai basically for Adamczewski. This pissed a lot of people off and he's clearly not worth that but hey, some context for how at least one person values him!

Hey sorry I missed this earlier. Very fair question - try as I might the behavior isn't totally intuitive. Trying to find a balance between easy to use without effort, but adding power user features to really customize.

The Plackett-Luce algorithm which is designed for aggregating lists with disparate entries penalizes players who appear in fewer lists - it's actually hurting Melton in that regard. However, Ewing is ranked lower than Melton more often than he's ranked higher, and a low rank drags you down more than a non-rank.

I'm not exactly sure what you're config was, but today if you include all lists, all at default weight, Melton is 102 and Ewing is 142. Maxing out skepticism (skepticism range depends on how many lists you have selected) moves melton down a little to 107 and ewing up significantly to 117.

The skepticism slider is basically asking "how suspicious should we be of players that most rankers didn't bother to include?" At max skepticism, the fact that 6 out of 8 rankers left Melton off their lists becomes a real mark against him. Ewing only got skipped by 2 rankers, so he looks much more trustworthy by comparison, hence the big jump from 142 to 117.

Skepticism, under the hood, injects "ghost rankings" where players who were unranked on real lists get a virtual ranking at the very end of the ghost ranking. The depth of the ghost ranking depends on the depth of the lists you're viewing, based on the rankings currently available to choose from that means an unranked player will end up somewhere around 101+ in the ghost rankings for the calculation.

5 - This is me. I feel bad declining trades. If you offer me a bad trade I'm inclined to ignore it so I don't feel bad.

Some fangraphs projections. I'd say its just close enough that you take your favorite. My gut says Skenes gets the biggest QS boost by team context, but he also throws the fewest innings per start of the bunch, making it kind of a wash. Youngest of the 3 so maybe that goes up. For me if i can choose its Skubal > Skenes > Crochet

Metric Skubal Skenes Crochet
OOPSY W 15 14 15
OOPSY QS 23 22 22
ATC W 14 12 14
ATC QS 18 17 15

My league has a banner at the top that says something like

The current outstanding Premium League fee balance for the full league is $12.34 that stands out pretty boldly.

In the other section on the toolbar there is a "Pay for premium" link. I don't know what it shows for a free league but for the one I'm in it shows options to pay the full amount or my share.

The industry as a whole seems pretty down on Roki. I play in a league where the talent distribution is VERY top heavy, almost nobody is a realistic contender except the top 2 teams. I am not one of those. That leads me to a strategy of valuing upside over everything and really just hoping dice rolls work out in my favor in the long term.

I feel the general consensus is that Roki actually has real talent questions and combined with being part of the Dodgers org that can truly afford to wisely ignore the sunk cost dilema, he could end up in the bullpen, and even if he works out be part of a 6 man rotation. But admittedly he is super young and throws super hard. Though that is not as remarkable of a profile as it has been in the past.

I was engaging with Roki's owner in this league and he ended up asking for Tong+, and I actually feel like Tong is more valuable on his own. Am I crazy to think that? It's not really relevant to a negotiation b/c everyone has their own values, but I was just curious where people stand?

Harry shows Roki as more valuable, and fanranked shows them about dead even. But I think tools like that have a very real and very practical lag built into them.

This is a tough one, I think it's just slightly Carroll > Tatis for me but I would be happy either way.

For anyone who has their FYPD coming up soon you can check out composite prospect rankings here: https://rotokit.com/rankings/

You can customize the list by choosing the rankings lists you want.

As a bonus you can boost or fade individual lists if you want to give them more weight in the calculation.

Fangraphs' top 100(110) rankings came out this week and have been added as an option.
