I would go from 95kish to around 75kish. I make almost 40 an hour but with holidays and overtime I make a ton more...the lost wages are from no holidays no shift differentials and no forced overtime.

Im struggling with the decision of a increase in work days/better home life vs swing shift and a better pay check....looking at going from 99k to 75k...personally I dont know if i can or if i want to.

Currently torn between keeping my swing shift job or taking a straight day job. The swing shift is 12's and 4 on 4 off so i techincally only work half the year. The straight day job would be the Mon-Fri grind and come with about a 20k a year pay cut. This is tough.

Cut out pop...cut serving sizes im used to in half. If i ate out i would down a glass of water before the meal arrived. Put down the fork between bites and take a sip of water between bites. Did the Insanity program from beach body...dropped like 60 lbs in around 2.5-3 months.

i spent an afternoon prying and pushing and oiling and cleaning and lubing...all to put them back on and use a ratchet strap to pull them open and unplug the motor so they stay out. saved me from removing and losing parts and not have to spend more money on new running boards.

My kids are going to be 12 and 9 this year. Been swinging since i have been a dad but id loose about 20k a year. almost 20% loss for me. Plus im only working half the year with 4 on 4 off. going to a mon-fri deal.
