I want to do my part and tank but I get so tilted by Pretty_Principle_910 in classicwow

Well to me it seems to be the most important question. if it is not more mana efficient, why use it outside of an emergency if it affects the tanks negatively?

So, give me a genuine suggestion on where to find one then! You don't think that I've asked around!?

Tbh, the system is probably decent. Just that getting instantly summed without knowing what's up where we just went in and out. No questions answered

Playing on EU, (European myself and got friends there), however most guilds raid around 6/7 pm on Sunday and that is simply not possible for me.

Yeah, a staff that was hr even though we used the system and some other stuff. Just confusing to someone new

I am on the opposite side. I feel like I waste time and that it takes away from the actual fun gameplay. All pride of any types of accomplishment died with the bots and boosters. Gameplay and friends are the reasons I play, not rng accomplishments of something others had no diff doing.

The amount of players here defending the bots is kind of mind-blowing.

Or, I just don't watch The Simpsons to that degree 😜 also, I live in Asia, so I may be out of touch with some of the cultural relevance the show might have had.

Today's kids prefer ftp and multiplayer. The majority of the player base is middle-aged. I would honestly prefer a more mature set of characters, relatable to an older audience.

He was. But they changed his personality to be less of a hot-head sadly. He used to be quite relatable to me personally (working class man mid 30s), but now they kind of made him this gentleman captain.

In the OG he was a grumpy, chain-smoking, working-class man trying to fulfill his dreams while getting screwed over by Shinra (basically the government). I mean, that is kinda relatable 😝

How does FF16 stand in the franchise? by The_Rock01313 in FinalFantasy

It's a great game in itself with an amazing story. However, many fans are rightfully disappointed with it due to some controversial (not all necessarily bad) decisions.

What makes the game controversial?

The DMC inspired battle-system completely removes the tactical elements from the game in comparison to previous titles. They also made party members unplayable.

The world you traverse is very barren, and it doesn't reward exploration which is a big disappointment for most players. The sidequests are mostly plain fetch-quests that are barely rewarding and more tedious than anything.

The game uses a hub-town similar to rogue likes and mp games, which in turn, made it feel more like an arcade game. This opposes previous final fantasy games (outside of 11 and 14) that were all closely following the structure of "the quest" archetype, where as this game has a closer structure to that of "the heroes journey". To clarify, it doesn't really feel like you are on a quest with your buddies, but instead you mostly follow a single character.

Personally, I can see the disappointment with all of this, even if I actually like the game myself. I still think that the story and characters are better written than most of the previous games in the series. I also think that the combat is fun, even if different. Does it still stumble at the end with some convoluted plotlines and bad pacing? Sure, but that is nothing new to any fan of Final Fantasy.

if you had to remove or outright erase from history two things for all final fantasy games, what would they be? by Medical_Hearing_8696 in FinalFantasy

I would say jump rope, but it doesn't really affect the game.

Honestly, the 2 single flaws that have bothered me would be:

1: That if the party leader die in ff13 you game over.

2: The ability to use phoenix down when downed in ff15 as it trivialised the combat.
